Beautiful location

The location was beautiful, the house is nice. The house was clean and had the facilities. The hot tub was fun as well the swing. The house needs some improvement like the kitchen equipment are little old. There is only one AC in the main room, so for really hot day it's hard to sleep. Overall it was good, but if made some more improvements to the house, it will be a beautiful place to stay.

Neighbors are further out so you can stay up as long as you want and be loud inside the house! The parking area outside is great for sports like soccer, kickball etc. Kitchen had all the appliances that we needed. The host has good communication before, during and after the trip. We took a group of teens from our church for a cabin trip, and everyone loved the cabin, rooms, beds, bathrooms, kitchen and especially living room area where we had games in a circle, also Bible study, worship and fellowship. The house needs some improvements, but overall it is a great place for a group cabin trip!

Disappointing

It’s clear that this double wide home was once beloved, and it’s also clear that it’s not taken care of that way any longer. The cobwebs were huge, the paint job was on all the windows and fixtures and chipped, the hot tub was not usable (cloudy, low, and yellow-tinted water), and we had to wash most dishes before using. I also did not receive check in information prior to arrival, though they were quick to provide it once I called. The location is beautiful and the house serviceable.

Communication with host was absolutely terrible. Messaged host 8 hours prior to arriving as we were given two different check in times and had a rehearsal dinner to get ready for so needed to know what time was accurate. No response. 30 min prior to arriving tried to call (several times and two different numbers that were provided) and left voicemail to clarify check in time and still no response. Finally 30 minutes after our check in time we received the entry instructions (after we already called VRBO customer service and they reached out.) Once we got settled into the house, several amenities listed did not work, the hot tub smelled horrible, the washer smelled very musty, and outlets through the house did not work. We were then given a check out time by the host of 10:00am via a message on the app when the original booking via email said check out was 11:00am. Overall, the communication and times of check in and checkout were terrible and caused a lot of frustration.
