The house is located in a new build resort/ neighbourhood located on the south/east side of the Island. The resort is only a 5 min. drive from the popular Jan Thiel Beach.
The supermarket "Vreugdenhil" that offers both Dutch as American products is only a 5 min. drive. Just outside the resort on walking distance from the house you'll find a nice cosy restaurant, (offers take-out as well) named "foodies" that offers the best coffee, fresh bread, meals, breakfast, lunch and several sweets/cakes.
From the house you'll find several trails into the natural park "the Salt Lakes", easy for walking, running and biking. A perfect place for travellers that like to stay close to nature, bird lovers and/or prefer an active vacation that includes mountain biking or walking in the quit and natural reserves.
The historical city centre Willemstad you'll find on 15-20 min. driving distance. Hato Airport is a 40 min. drive (depending on the hour of the day and traffic).
