The Honeybee Cottage: Conveniently located close to Asheville

Come enjoy the peaceful serenity of the mountain countryside while having all of the convenience of being a few miles outside of Asheville city limits. This well-appointed home lives perfectly for one large group or 2 small groups with separate living areas and 2 beds upstairs and 2 beds downstairs. Motorcycle and RV enthusiasts take note as the large flat driveway and convenience to the Blue Ridge Parkway make this a perfect base for exploration. West Asheville nightlife is approximately 10 minutes away and downtown just a few minutes further, and you can spend your days floating down the French Broad River or enjoying the biking, hiking, and fishing of the Bent Creek section of the Pisgah National Forest, also a short 15-minute drive. For those that enjoy the home life, maybe you’d like to just spend your time relaxing on the deck watching the deer and turkeys graze in the back meadow. You’ll be hard pressed to find a more convenient and accommodating stay in such a beautiful location for your next trip to this little slice of heaven. Truly, a great stay! All the areas for relaxing were very charming and comfortable. Excellent communication during the day, as well as beforehand. Very close to a lot of things to do!

Second stay here, just as good as the first!

Always a nice stay at this Candler NC house. Wonderfully furnished and close to everything. Highly recommend.

Absolutely Perfect Stay

Great, responsive hosts. House is wonderfully decorated, had so much space, and is in a quiet location yet near everything. The house was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Place to stay in Asheville

The house is very easy to find, a short drive to everything in Asheville, comfortable home and yard yo enjoy the outdoors, great scenery, easy parking, comfortable beds, couches, chairs; everything could ever want to use in kitchen and bath, even extras like smores and popcorn. We would definitely stay there again.

Great place!

The cottage is such a nice place to stay at! My friends and I were very impressed with the cleanliness and resources provided with the place. The host had places to go and restaurant suggestions in cottage, which was super helpful! The communication with the host was great and fast! I definitely would stay here again if we come back to the area!

Beautiful Property

Myself, my best friend and her parents all stayed at this charming home. It was a perfect set up with me and my friend having our own bedrooms, a livingroom and a bath upstairs, and her parents having their own bedroom, bath and livingroom downstairs, giving them their privacy when they wanted it. The surroundings were beautiful, the house was homey and it was only 10-15 min away from downtown Asheville. We had a blast and would definitely stay there again.

Great Girls' Weekend Getaway

The house was perfect for our girls' weekend getaway! It was extremely well stocked with everything we could possibly need which made it feel like we were at our own home. Everything was clean and well maintained. Beds were very comfortable. We loved spending time on the deck and enjoying the beautifully landscaped and maintained firepit area. Communication with the owner was great. We would definitely return!

Love your place. Only gave 4 because the grass hadn’t been cut and y’all were a little slow getting we check in information. These days , I was getting a little worried we may not have a place to stay. Other than that, thank you for letting us use your house. We loved it.

Absolutely amazing!

The pictures do not do this property justice. I was floored when I walked in by how spacious yet comfy the house felt. I rather enjoyed the separate living areas as I have an infant and when she wakes up I didn't have to disturb the rest of the house. The host was very responsive on the one question I had considering they had everything thought of plus more. I never thought a VRBO would have a stand mixer or a griddle for pancakes. Everytime I thought of oh maybe I need to go by this, such as poker sticks for the campfire, I opened a drawer and they were in a drawer. I did also enjoy the wildlife! My last few days, I saw rabbits, deer and even fireflies! When we stay in the area next year, we fully intend on booking this property again, probably everytime we stay in Candler, it will be on this specific property. Thank you for having such a beautiful home available for people to stay in.
