Welcome to this newly remodeled 3 Bedroom 2 Bath ranch style home. Kaywood's Kottage is located less than 5 minutes from Downtown Asheville and West Asheville, with plenty of options for restaurants, breweries, shopping, and outdoor activities. The house is a quick 6 mile drive to the Biltmore Estate where you can tour the estate, enjoy the winery, walk through the beautiful gardens, and enjoy all the fine dining Biltmore has to offer.
The property is conveniently located less than 2 miles from the River Arts District which hosts New Belgium Brewing Company, High Wire Brewing RAD Beer Garden, and the famous 12 Bones Smokehouse. The River Arts District, which was once full of bustling mills, is now home to 270+ working artists and offers an eclectic mix of dining, vibrant murals, as well as easy access to the French Broad River. The River Arts District provides endless opportunities for visitors to personally connect with some of Asheville's top creatives, engage in hands-on workshops and purchase local artwork. An enjoyable area to dine, shop, and enjoy local artists creations!
Kaywood's Kottage is located 2 miles from Haywood Rd which is considered the heart of West Asheville. West Asheville is known for small shops selling vintage clothing, books, and records. Haywood Road is lined with breweries, retro-cool music venues, busy brunch spots, and innovative eateries serving elevated Southern dishes.
The house is appointed with:
o new furniture throughout,
o fully equipped kitchen with table and bar seating options,
o comfy living room, with smart TV, that opens into kitchen area, living room has 2 recliners, couch that sits 3 people, and chair/ ottoman
o private parking for up to 6 cars,
o all bedrooms have new queen mattresses and new linens,
o primary bedroom is equipped with a smart TV,
o linens and towels are provided as a convenience.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered front porch while rocking in one of the rocking chairs. You and your guest can have a relaxing lunch in our fully appointed kitchen or step out on to the back deck with a gas grill and outdoor dining area. The back deck is also equipped with a fire pit and ambient lighting for you and your company to enjoy day or night.
PET FEE- an additional pet fee allows up to 2 well-behaved house-trained dogs under 50 lbs $90.00. Please note you will have to add the dogs at time of booking located in the guest section. When booking please include your dog in your booking message so that proper goodies are left for your dog upon arrival. The house has a fully enclosed fenced front yard and a separate fully enclosed fenced side yard for dogs to run and play off leash. Please keep your dogs on leash when walking in the neighborhood. Failure to disclose dogs in your booking will result in the pet fee will be doubled and charged at checkout.
Noise - We want you to have fun while visiting Asheville. Please note, No Parties Allowed for any reason. This house is located in a nice family-oriented neighborhood. Please respect the neighborhood and keep outside noise to a minimum after 11pm. However, feel free to sit out on the deck and gaze at the stars with the fire pit and ambient lighting as long as you like.
Property Damage â We understand that accidents happen. However, please inform us immediately if an item is broken or damaged. Any property damage or missing/stolen items will be the responsibility of the renter. Please do not rearrange the furniture and leave the property in the condition in which you found it.
The side garage and basement are locked off and house only utilities. Guest will not have access to garage or basement. You are renting the property for you and your guests and the property will not be shared with anyone else.
The living room fireplace is for decoration only and non operational. The fireplace door has been welded shut. The house has natural gas central heating as well as central air conditioning.
Please note the property has external security cameras on the driveways and facing the rear garage area.
