This beautiful 3BR, 2.5 bath house is located on Casco Bay in Portland, ME. The 3rd bedroom is located in the finished basment with bathroom and laundry area. It has a double deck in the back yard (with ocean view), grill and a patioset included with a center table/firepit. Directly across the street is Payson Park where there are walking trails, backetball court, tennis courts and a playground. Also, just a walk through the backyard is the Back Cove Boulevard, perfect if you want to enjoy a nice walk along side the water.

This house is located within 5 minutes for Portland’s famous
Old Port which includes many family friendly attractions, local shops and a wide variety of restaurants from traditional pub fare to fine dining. Located within 20 minutes from Portland is Freeport, home to the famous L.L. Bean store and many other outlets. Also 20 minutes away is Sebago lake. The lake offers many activities from swinging, canoeing, kayaking, boat rentals and even scenic plane rides!

This is a great spot for people of all ages to enjoy a simple get away with lots of variety!

Pretty nice little house to stay at with our toddler for a couple days. Great view out the back and a playground in reasonable walking distance (perfect for working off some of the big meals we had while in Portland!)

My family and I had a wonderful experience staying in this home. The location is great, safe, nearby park, beautiful views from the house and backyard. The house is comfortable and clean with lots of space for everyone. Bathrooms and showers are a plus. Stayed for the weekend for a local wedding. Would highly recommend. Property owner is very responsive and helpful. No complaints!

Lovely stay

We were there for a long weekend with 2 other couples. We spent a lot of time in town which was just a short Uber ride. The house had a few minor quirks that the host is addressing/upgrading. But it was very clean and comfortable . Behind the house was very pretty . A very quiet dead end street. The deck was lovely and private with a big open space behind the house and a view of the cove that had a great walking trail around it A very pleasant experience. We would stay there again.

Good spot

The location was great just 10 mins from downtown Portland. There was plenty of space as well. The only thing we noticed was that it seemed like there were some unfinished projects happening. An example was in the shower the light above was a cut hole with no covering. It was little things like that we felt could have been finished before having people stay. The basement also smelled very damp and could use a dehumidifier. Otherwise the stay was great. Close access to many things including a park. Would stay here again with a group.

We left

We have stayed at many vacation rental houses and we have never before left without unpacking. We would have overlooked the refrigerator filled with food, the advertised third bedroom in the unfinished basement, the dishwasher that when opened was an empty box and the overall misrepresentation of the property, but it was advertised as not allowing pets and we found kitty litter and cat food. We have severe allergies and lung issues.so we had no choice but to leave. The property looks fine online but the pictures are definitely cherry picked and very deceiving.

The house was advertised as no pets, meaning you can’t bring your pets here. The small bag of “dog food” in the closet was left by a friend almost a year ago and it was just never thrown away. We do not have a dog. You were advised by my partner that she sold her house 2 months ago and had her cat was here for 1 week until she moved into her apartment and she left and old box of litter in the garage. There have been no pets here since. I wish you had reached out to ask more in depth questions prior to staying if your health concerns are that severe. As for the “food” in the fridge, we only left a couple of condiments on the door and some things in the bottom of the freezer. We live in this house and it is not unheard of to leave a couple things in an owner occupied home. The basement is also fully finished and described in the description of the property as being in a finished basement. It Is completely tiled with a sink and a small bar with a fully done bathroom with a tiled stand-up shower, as well as a laundry area. Also, we do not list our rental as having a dishwasher. I am sorry you felt this was not to your standards but the pictures posted are 100% accurate.
