The name "Dallas" is derived from the British 'dol' meaning "meadow" and 'gwas' meaning "dwelling".

Meadow House is a petite guesthouse inspired by Dallas architecture and art museums, native plants to the area, as well as my own travels and heritage from Southeast Asia. Most of the furnishings in Meadow House are vintage, a part of our commitment to reducing consumption while providing a safe and comfortable experience for guests. We're a 5 min drive from the lively Bishop Arts district.



The Space:

Our home caters to both short term and medium term stays, making it an excellent choice for corporate housing needs. Whether you find yourself temporarily displaced from your home or require accomodations for your team during an extended project in our area, we provide a welcoming and comfortable "home away from home" experience.



Welcome to Meadow House: your cozy and serene oasis awaits you. With all the bells and whistles of a hotel, and yet, plush and welcoming like your very own home.



Our living room is designed to help you indulge in life, complete with flatscreen tv and nap-worthy couch.



A perfectly situated kitchenette is complete with a bar-height dining nook for two.



Your beautiful and spacious bedroom featured a queen sized bed, vintage style vanity and plenty of closet space.



Best of all, your bedroom comes with an en-suite zen style bathroom with rain shower.



We don’t blame you if you never want to leave!



Lastly, we must stress that we do NOT allow parties or large unauthorized gatherings of any sort at our property. We are adamant about only welcoming families and groups who are looking to relax and enjoy the beautiful stunning backyard and the amenities the home has to offer.

A bustling cosmopolitan known for our sports, history, BBQ, and frozen margaritas, Dallas is home to more than a dozen neighborhoods and districts that each have their own distinct vibe and attractions. From spectacular museums and performing arts venues in the Arts District to the buzzing nightlife of live music and lively bars, there’s something for everyone here in Dallas! And you will be only a 15 min drive from the heart of Downtown Dallas.

If you arrive by car, you will be happy to know that we offer a free parking spot if driving is something you would like to avoid during your stay Uber and Lyft are only minutes away 24/7.

The guesthouse is its own structure located in the backyard of our primary residence.







★ SECURITY CAMERAS ★



We have security cameras outside in our backyard for our safety and security as well as that of all our guests.







★ PETS ★



This is not a pet friendly house. Pets are not allowed. We are sorry for the inconvenience.







★ SAFETY DEPOSIT OR DAMAGE WAIVER REQUIRED ★



We understand that accidents can happen. To help protect the space and ensure a worry-free stay, all reservations require either a damage waiver or a safety deposit.



You can choose the option that works best for you: a non-refundable damage waiver ranging from $29 up to $69, which covers accidental damage and normal wear and tear (no deductible) or a refundable safety deposit of $450, which will be returned after checkout as long as no damage is found and all house rules are followed.



If you’ve already purchased Damage Protection Insurance through a third-party provider, feel free to share your policy with us—we’re happy to review it and we may consider waving the requirement based on your coverage.

All our smart TVs are equipped with streaming apps like Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube. Guests are welcome to login with personal accounts.

The Short Term Rental Permit Number for this house is 573868 issued by the City of Dallas.







★ NOISE LEVEL MONITORING ★



Please note that in order to be a good neighbor and host responsibly, comply with local noise ordinances and occupancy regulations, and prevent unauthorized parties, we have installed a noise alert device in our home. We can assure you that your privacy is our utmost concern; this device is NOT recording NOR storing sound data. The noise alert only functions to measure decibels and send alerts in case reasonable noise levels are exceeded.
