We had a really lovely stay, and the cabin was perfectly sized for our larger family. Excellent location, and the pool onsite was a huge bonus for the kids. I would absolutely book again!

This was our third stay at Home Sweet Log. The cabin was welcoming as always, comfortable and very clean. Access to the pool was a big plus for our grandsons especially during inclement weather! The host, Oleg, is very prompt in answering any questions. We will definitely be back!

Early Summer Stay

Great overall stay. Liked the village and the amenities - especially the indoor pool for our group. We used the deck around the house quite a bit and had a small fire outback one evening. The house was great for our group!!!

Great Weekend Getaway

We were so impressed with this place, I would 100% stay here again. The cabin itself was so beautiful and comfortable. Comfortable beds and great linens, awesome towels, fantastic water pressure in the showers. It was perfect for our group! The host was very responsive and accommodating!

Wonderful home

Beautiful place to stay. Owner very quick to respond to my questions. They left treats for the kids and adults. Would recommend it to anyone and we would return again if we head back to the area. Very short drive to all the action of the dells area but get the quiet and peaceful place to rest and relax

Beautiful property

The cabin was spacious and was very well decorated. There was all the amenities you would need. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms all set up nice . The owners were prompt to answer questions. We would definitely stay there again.

Short family getaway

We had family members from 4 to 76 years old. The cabin was everything we needed, spacious, very well stocked, very clean and beautifully decorated for fall. We all enjoyed the decks and fire pit and the kids had a blast at the pool. Lovely wooded location.

Clean. Quiet. Great way to experience the Dells

Grateful to the generous hosts for this clean and well appointed “cabin”. It’s on a beautiful quiet, wooded property. Would stay there again. Awesome way to experience the Dells. It was nice to explore the Dells and have a home base that we could sprawl out in and relax into. Kid friendly.

Family Reunion

Beds were comfortable. We had plenty of towels. The kitchen was very well stocked. We did have a problem with ants in the kitchen. We were able manage with what we found in the house. Ant traps might be helpful. Great location. Overall we had a great time.

Lovely home

This was a very lovely home and very well appointed. It was spacious and comfortable. There were plenty of linens and clean dishes, workable pots and pans, and a lovely welcoming gift. It was great to use the communal pools and other amenities of the area. The host was helpful. Our only issue were the screen doors that we couldn't close and some confusion about the locking system. All in all we had a wonderful time.

Dells Fall Getaway

This was our second booking of this cabin and once again, it didn't disappoint. Only half of our group was able to go unfortunately - I had a setback after surgery and and my husband and I had to stay home. Such a disappointment as it was a glorious fall weekend! However, the rest of the family had a wonderful time and the 7 year old thinks it should become an annual event! I agree and hopefully we will all make it next time!

Best family vacation yet!

The property was beautiful inside and out. Oleg could have not been more accomodating. I just intended to make him aware that one of the tvs was not working but it was ok we didn't need it. Oleg replaced the tv the next day. The home was vary spacious and comfortable with a small loft that our granddaughters immediately adopted as their own. I would definitely recommend this property. It is in a quite area away from all the attractions. A perfect place to relax with family.

Family summer vacation.

The house was perfectly located close to everything at the dells with pools, golf course and great outdoor activities for everyone. We had several families staying ranging in age from 80 to 9 and there was plenty of room for everyone to fit comfortably. Below is my 13 year old niece’s review. I thought the house was very nice. As a younger person, the foosball table was a nice touch. I loved the living room. The was just difficult with everyone staying in the house, not all of us could fit in the couch. The entire house was a very nice place to stay in. I really enjoyed the feel of the entire place. And I appreciated the extra toiletries left in case someone, like me, needed something. Thank you for making our stay so nice!"
