Elegant Country Retreat, 20 min to Lincoln

This is a modern home in a scenic setting on an active 300 acre farm just 20 minutes from Lincoln, Nebraska. It has large open rooms with lots of sunny windows to enjoy the views. Each of the bedrooms has it's own bathroom and the kitchen can handle more than one chef :-) There is also a large sewing/laundry room for quilting or scrap booking! We have a resident owl and you will often see deer, raccoons and turkey headed to the pond for a drink! Enjoy the sunrise on the covered wrap around porch, play croquet and check out millions of stars on a clear night. It's a great home to gather your family! We are 2 miles from the Village of Denton, the Audubon Spring Creek Prairie, and 20 minutes from SW Lincoln. Come relax and recharge in comfort!

Here are some local attractions: UNL Football Stadium 23 minutes, Warhorse Casino 15 min, Lincoln Children's Zoo 27 min, Leid Center 25 min, Pinnacle Bank Arena 24 min, South Pointe Mall 22 minutes.)

Country charm
We booked this property to host a bridal shower for our daughter, and for our family to stay together for her college graduation. The house was perfect. The description and pictures do not do the house justice. It is a peaceful country retreat at the end of a private drive. The house was immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. There was plenty of room for the guests. The kitchen is fully equipped-we had everything we needed for cooking. Communication with the hosts was great. Any questions-and there were not many because everything is very clear in the house description-we’re answered immediately. Everyone in our group was in love with the house.

Peaceful with beautiful views
This property is so clean! Beautiful country views. Peaceful setting. Host was easy to contact & quick to respond. She thought of every little detail. Home is spacious with plenty of room for a large family. We loved all the bathrooms! It took so little time to get ready. Would definitely recommend!

Jon & I are both California transplants! However, we have lived in the Lincoln area for most of our lives. We have been self-employed our entire marriage and currently own a business where we design and install solar systems. We were foster parents for a number of years and belong to the local EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) chapter. I helped my family open a motel in the '80's, so I'm not a 'newbie' at hosting but somewhat challenged with social media! I used to show horses and Jon used to race dirt bikes but the farm has recently taken over our hobby time. We love traveling and have been fortunate to have been able to travel out of the country a number of times. We live in a second home on the same property (1/4 mile apart) and really enjoy coming home to the quiet of the country. We look forward to having you as our guest!
