Lake Sutherland Waterfront Cabin w/ Expansive Dock
Welcome to one of the most beautiful and pristine lakes in North America - Lake Sutherland. Situated between entrances to Olympic National Park, this spectacular lake front cottage is 608 sq ft with high ceilings, a modern design and a 1,400 sq ft dock to take in the sweeping views of the mountains. The cabin`s gracious floor to ceiling windows let you soak in the views while you cozy up by the fireplace. Whether you are inside or out, you will be getting your much needed dose of nature.
This cozy lakefront home boasts an open floor plan comfortably holding 4 guests, with a limit of 6 guests max. There are two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen stocked with essentials, living room, dining table, washer & dryer. The primary bedroom has a full-sized bed and the second bedroom has a bunk bed including three twin beds. Located in the living room the couch can double as a 5th bed and another twin mattress is located under the couch.
We provide all basic necessities to make you feel at home including but not limited to: - Kitchen with essentials including, coffee, tea, creamer, salt, pepper, and - cooking oil. - Towels and linens, but for extra comfort, please bring your own extra towels, cooking ingredients and bottled water. - Shampoo, conditioner & body wash - Starlink WIFI - Smart TV w/ Netflix and HBO - Adult-sized kayak, child-sized kayak and stand-up paddle board. - Charcoal BBQ - Onsite Washer/Dryer
More about the outside space: To access the home there are 70+ stairs that lead you from the parked car to this serene lake front home. Guests will have access to a small yard, fire pit, dock and kayaks.
More about the location: 17 min drive to downtown PA and the BC ferry, 17 minutes to the Hurricane Ridge Visitors Center, 10 min to lake crescent, 41 min to Sequim, 56 min to Sol Duc Resort, 26 minutes to Salt Creek Rec area, 12 min to Elwha River, 1h 5m to lapush, 1hr 26min to Cape Flattery, 1hr 36min to hobuck and much more!
Guests have access to a small yard, fire pit, massive 1,400 sq ft dock and the gorgeous lake.
While we won`t be there to check you in, we will be available during your stay via airbnb, text or call.
**Parking** There is enough room for 2 cars. The parking is off the side of the road at the top of the stairs. Please make sure not to block the other driveway. When leaving parking and merging onto road please be extremely cautious.

***Water: Our tap water is filtered water from the lake. We recommend bringing bottled water or boiling water before drinking.***
***The bedrooms are open air and don`t have ceilings.***
***We do not provide firewood. If you would like to have an indoor or outdoor fire, we suggest purchasing some at a grocery store or convenient store.***
Storm: No refunds will be given in the event that a storm or severe weather conditions limits your accessibility to the lake house or causes a power outage. We do not refund due to road conditions; however, we will assess this case by case and are willing to compensate accordingly to make it fair for both parties
*There will be a Security deposit for $500 held against your card 48 hours before arrival. If no damage is reported by staff, this will be released 24 hours after checkout*
-Important: All cancellations are subject to a non-refundable payment processing fee. For VRBO bookings, this is listed as an “administrative fee” and is calculated at 5.5% of the base rate to reflect the payment processing and integration costs incurred on the full reservation amount, including cleaning and tax charges. Direct bookings (website): 4% fee. This fee covers third-party processing costs and is not retained by us. Thank you for understanding! -Please attend to all children when around the lake. We recommend use of life vests for children and non-swimmers. Always swim with others around for safety purposes. Swimming is at your own risk and with the understanding that you are responsible for any damage caused by your failure to insure your safety and the safety of those in your party.

-There are 80+ stairs to access the cabin. If you or another guest have limited mobility, this home is not for you.
-Kayaks, aluminum boat and paddle board are for guest use only. Please be sure to wear USCG approved life vests and follow all local, state and federal laws. Use of kayaks, aluminum boat and paddle board is at your own risk and with the understanding that you are responsible for any damage caused by your use of the same.
-Sensitive Toilet and Plumbing: Our plumbing and septic system is delicate —please only flush the toilet paper provided and human waste. We also don’t have a sink garbage/food disposal, so please discard leftover food waste into the trash can. Fixing a septic clog is upwards of $1000 charge, so please remember to abide by these rules! You will lose your security deposit and be charged the difference for any septic backup.
-Because we keep our cabin sparkly clean for you, we kindly ask that you lend a helping hand. Clean any dishes used, put dirty laundry in hamper, you know the basic stuff... It helps keep the cleaning costs down for you and future guests.
-We`re keeping the floors clean for our guests, please no shoes in house.
-Accidents happen, when they do please notify us as soon as possible. This is the best way to ensure the return of your security deposit.
-No smoking is allowed inside the cabin. Guests who do so will be charged a cleaning fee of $500. Smoking is allowed outside but cigarette butts must be disposed of properly
-No illegal drugs allowed, it`s the law.
-Please be respectful of our neighbors and the lake. You`d be surprised how sound travels across the lake. Quiet hours after 10pm. Violators are subject to a $250 fine.
-Please help mother earth. Turn lights and accessories off; heat at 65 degrees when not in use.
-We are honored you decided to choose our lakeside cabin, however if your goal is to throw a party this is not the destination for you. This cabin is for registered guests only. There should be no more than 4 guests at the cabin.
-No pets allowed: A $500 fee will be incurred if pets are found at the property. Owner has allergies.
-Only use fireplace and fire pit if you have adequate experience and know how to operate safely. Use of the fireplace, fire pit, is at your own risk and with the understanding that you are responsible for any damage caused by your use of the same. Please do not introduce unapproved items in the woodstove – just firewood, kindling, matches, fire starters, Duraflame Logs, and this goes for the fire pit as well.
-Local fire-ban ordinances must be observed with regards to the outside fire pit. Care must be taken to keep fires under control and to a reasonable size.
-PARKING – Parking is limited to 2 vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be parked on the road/pullout at the top of the stairs. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
-Please stay out of the storage areas. These areas are dangerous and not designed for guests.
-Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be removed from the home.
-We do not permit supplies, furniture, decorative items, appliances, and other furnishings to be removed from the home. Please leave the home as you found it.
-Storm: No refunds will be given in the event that a storm or severe weather conditions limits your accessibility or causes a power outage. We recommend all-wheel drive/four-wheel drive and/or chains during snowstorms. We do not refund due to road conditions; however, we will assess this case by case and are willing to compensate accordingly to make it fair for both parties.
-Check-out: Guests will be charged an extra $25 for late check out; check out time is 11:00am unless otherwise talked about with the host. The charge is $25 per 30 minute increment. Thank you for being respectful of the hosts and cleaners time.
-Violations of these rules can result in additional fees or immediate cancelation of your reservation and removal from the property without refund.
License to Occupy Only; No Landlord-Tenant Relationship. Guest acknowledges and agrees that this Agreement creates a revocable license to occupy the Property for transient lodging purposes only. This Agreement is not a lease, does not convey any real-property interest, and does not create a landlord-tenant relationship under any state or local law.
Primary Guest Responsible for All Occupants. The individual who books the reservation (“Primary Guest”) hereby accepts full legal and financial responsibility for (a) themselves, (b) all other guests, occupants, invitees, visitors, or persons allowed onto the Property (“Additional Guests”), regardless of whether such persons have signed this Agreement. Primary Guest represents and warrants that all Additional Guests shall comply with all rules, policies, and terms of this Agreement. Any breach of this Agreement by an Additional Guest shall be deemed a breach by the Primary Guest.
Indemnification and Hold Harmless. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Primary Guest and all Additional Guests shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Owner, Property Manager, and their respective members, officers, employees, agents, and contractors (“Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, fines, penalties, attorney fees, or costs arising out of or related to: (a) Guest’s or any Additional Guest’s use or occupancy of the Property;
-Please attend to all children when around the lake. We recommend use of life vests for children and non-swimmers.

Incredible view and outdoor space! We worked remote in the mornings and were able to take advantage of the short distance to the National Park in the afternoons. Truly a gem of a property! Absolutely stunning!
