Great rental for family holiday

Great rental for a family holiday. Clean apartment and a kitchen with everything needed. Next to the village gondola. A little outdated building/halls but clean. Would rent again.

We had the absolute best stay at Cozy Mountain Retreat backing onto Toby Creek. There was so much to do for the whole family. We’ve stayed at several places in the area over the years, and this was by far our favourite. The place was comfortable, well-kept, and perfectly located for both relaxing and enjoying activities. We will definitely be back!

This was one of the best places we stayed in .in this resort. The owner was generous and the tools in the kitchen were handy. We had a problem with the fridge he took it to consideration and tried to fix the problem as fast as possible. I will definitely book again with Russ

Second time staying here, loved it both times. The kitchen is very well appointed with plenty of glasses, cutlery and appliances. It has everything we needed and more. Great unit and always happy with our stay.

I really don’t like leaving bad comments in any aspect. However, in this case I really have to I told the owner of the condo. His name is Russ as soon as we open the door to get come into the building sorry come into the unit it smell. The stench was almost like a mixture of dog pee and cigarette smoke. When the girl at the front desk told me that might be ascent open the window. I did not think it would be that bad. I told the owner Russ, I suffer from allergies. His comment to me was no one has ever complain about any sent. The other issue is the towels the towels look old and raggedy as if it never got washed we brought our own towels so we didn’t have to use it. We brought our own blankets because they just had a very thin sheet on the bed in the master bedroom. The toilet was not flushing properly And I just gave up sending messages to the owner Russ because nothing was being done. The photos look great when you look at it from the website, but when you walk into the condo unit and you get a smell like what we got it was horrible. They need to change the carpet. It looks old and they need to rearrange the settings because the living room area. The space was very tight and it’s nothing like it looked on the website. My comment is if you’re expecting to see what you’re seeing on the website that’s not what you will be getting I rate this as very poor.

Okay stay at Panorama

We enjoyed our stay but the building and unit is showing its age, a bit weary all around. The unit feels tight, with oversized furniture for the space.It's a gondola ride or a hike up the hill to the main resort and ski access.Also a hike up to the hot tubs at the next building, which were packed and not accessible, as was the pool and hot tubs at the main lodge, which was disappointing after a long day on the slopes.

Convenient, but not ski in or out

This was a nice, if cramped, 2 BR/2 bath unit. It's not cramped because it's small; it's cramped because of the oversized furniture taking up all the floor space. A huge sofa and ottoman makes it hard to even get into the sitting area, and there is no room for tables in that room (balance your stuff on your lap, I guess). A massive dining table overfills the dining room. The huge bunk bed in the 2nd bedroom makes it impossible to fully open the closet doors.I also found it exceptionally dry. I'm used to low humidity in the rockies, but this was off the charts, with chapped skin and sore throats (typical low humidity issues) after just a day. The living room is chilly because one of the baseboard heaters doesn't work, so there are portable heaters that make things warmer, but even drier.Still, it's VERY convenient to get to the gondola that takes you up to the village, lifts and runs; a mere 2 min walk. The owner was super easy to communicate with and very helpful. Effortless check in procedure. Lots of board games & DVDs in the unit, so it would be good for families with kids. The kitchen was roomy, had good workspaces, and was pretty nicely equipped.

The apartment is great, steps to the lift and a fully stocked kitchen. Not the owners fault, but since the buildings are wood, you hear A LOT of noise. The people above us were quite load and heavy footed which was unfortunate as they were up past midnight. The only other thing is the king mattress, it’s so soft/ worn

Great Place, Great Location

My Wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and had an amazing time. The condo was just as advertised; clean comfortable and had all the amenties. The host Russ was great and answered me back right away with a very detailed lists (links) of things to do and see in Panorama and the surrounding areas. Thank you Russ!

Family wedding in the Rockies

Enjoyed our short stay very much. We were situated very close to other family members also staying at Panorama which was great. Definitely recommend staying at this comfy Condo.

Mountain get away

Perfect ski hill get away! The location is exactly what we were looking for. Just a few steps away from the gondola to take us to the downhill and cross country runs. We did a combination of both and it was amazing. It helped that it snowed during our entire three day stay! We parked our truck when we got there(in the underground parkade so no snow brushing required) and that is where it stayed. It was so nice that we could walk to everything. Host was very accommodating and we would stay again.
