We are located on the property at The RoseMary wedding venue. We do not allow any gatherings or events in any of our lodging units. If you want to host an event you MUST book one directly with The RoseMary wedding venue. Pricing found on our website. Exterior Security Camera located on the deck. This unit is reserved for a total of up to 6 guests at any given time throughout your stay. No additional guests allowed at any time.
NO EVENTS OR GATHERINGS ALLOWED at this VRBO. Weekdays and some weekends are available to anyone. Wedding parties and their immediate families that we are hosting weddings for at The RoseMary Barn (on booked weekends) are priority for available dates!
Please include the name of the wedding when requesting to book when coming in for a wedding please. If you aren’t coming for a RoseMary wedding, please give us the details on the reason for your visit to McKinney. Only 6 guests allowed! We are very strict on our max occupancy of 6. Please do not book if you have more than 6. We are not suitable for before or after parties. This two story bardominium is so beautiful with a fun modern feel. It has a white shiplap kitchen with open shelving, gold fixtures throughout and all of the cool modern farmhouse feels. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths and 2 living areas. The master bedroom has a king bed with a private bath, bedroom #2 has (1) queen bed and (1) full bed.. It’s located on the second and third floor of our three story barn. There is a floral shop on floor #1 of this building. No event gatherings or parties are allowed. We have onsite live-in staff next door to the Barndominium located on 6 acres. Only 6 guests allowed at all times during your stay. Exterior Security Camera located on the deck. You will be asked to leave if occupancy is exceeded! Property is on a routine schedule pest maintenance. However, a bug may get in due to our weather conditions here, so beware you may encounter a bug during your stay. We also have the standard checklist when checking out that most all other short term rentals have.

Perfect place to stay for Wedding Weekend

We rented units A and B for our wedding party to stay on property at The Rosemary Barn. It was a convenient, clean and welcoming space. There was a clean kitchen with all the supplies needed for cooking. It was such a huge relief to have a place to stay and not have to worry about the wedding party traveling to the venue! Highly recommend!

Rosemary barndominium

The property itself is beautiful and is very convenient if you are having a wedding at the venue. However, there are very few amenities, little communication regarding how to find check in info, WiFi and checkout- I had to ask about all of it. And there is NO PARKING right by VRBO- that is reserved for vendors- that is very inconvenient- especially when you are trying to load and unload for wedding, or just unload to stay in general. There are A LOT of rules. I understand, as I also run a vacation rental. However, it does not feel geared for guests in any way. The beds were not comfortable for many of us- and it is sparsely equipped for cooking. The furnishings are beautiful, the grounds are beautiful, and the larger barn condo has more kitchen and bath amenities. It could be fantastic with a few tweaks- especially ones that make the guests feel prioritized over their other business.

Thank you for your honest feedback! The check in instructions were sent to you on this app three days prior to your arrival. WiFi and checkout instructions are posted and located in each unit. Parking is directly below the set of stairs on the North side of the building. I’m not sure how you missed all of this. Our str has been open for 4 years and I’ve never had anyone miss all of this. Even after sending you the information on the app three days prior, Megan also gave it to you upon your early arrival. We have the same rules that every other STR has with an exception of some of the rules are tailored to having a commercial wedding venue on premises. I’ve only ever heard that the beds are extremely comfortable so I will need to investigate this. I’ve slept in many of them and I was comfortable and I’m picky. If you could email us with anything else we would be more than happy to look into it. Thank you
