Cozy Log Cabin on Golf Course, Across from Otsego Lake

Whether you want a quiet, cozy retreat or a launching pad to all Gaylord has to offer, this is the perfect spot! This delightful log cabin is in the heart of Gaylord! It sits on top of a golf course and is across the street from Otsego Lake, a bike & snowmobile path, and public beach access. Drive just minutes to downtown or one of two ski destinations: Treetops & Otsego Club!

This 2 bedroom original log cabin condo sleeps 8 and has an awesome floor plan for a family or a friends weekend! Downstairs you’ll find a living room, washer/dryer, full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, fireplace and a bedroom with a king bed. Upstairs is one big lofted room with 3 queen beds and a second full bathroom. This building is home to only two units and has a utility room built in between the units. No sharing walls or noise issues! It’s a beautiful setting! New HVAC, carpet and recliners Jan. 2024!

We love this cabin so much we stay here annually. The place is perfect and is close to town and the lake. I'm almost hesitant to leave this review to keep the secret from getting out!Not only is the place outstanding, the booking/mgmt team is as well. Emily is always great to chat with and she always makes sure guests have everything they need and are happy with their stay.5 stars, every time.

We were there in July. Fantastic rental. Clean, comfortable and has everything you need. They have a patio off the back which was great to sit with our morning coffee and in the evenings. We stayed for a week and golfed several rounds and explored the area. Downtown Gaylord is a great place to walk around. The location is perfect for trips to Mackinaw, Traverse City and Petosky. The rental is on the Ridge Gold Club and their restaurant and bar were great. The unit does not have cable TV, so if you want to watch TV, remember to bring your passwords for any streaming or cable services. We did not know that, but really didn't miss watching TV. If we make another trip to Michigan, I would stay again.

No better place to stay...

This was the 2nd time we stayed at the Cozy Log Cabin. Just like last time, the place was affordable, clean, and in great shape. The location is perfect - less than 10 minutes from downtown Gaylord, 5 minutes from Lake Otsego and a public beach, and close to golfing/activities in any direction. Special shout out to Emily for making the process so easy and for going above and beyond to help make our trip one to remember. We greatly appreciate everything she did for us! Awesome place. Awesome location. Awesome PM. Can't beat it! We will continue to try to book this location every time we visit Lake Otsego and Treetops for summer fun.

This place is perfect!

This place was absolutely perfect. It was so clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. There was plenty of sleeping accommodations and the beds were very comfortable. I absolutely loved the little touches, like soaps and makeup washcloths. Emily was a wonderful host with great communication. This is the place to stay if you’re visiting Gaylord. I highly recommend.

Good location in Gaylord area

Easy access for spill over family over the 4th. Smallish kitchen and bathrooms but nice sitting area downstairs and spacious sleeping area upstairs great for kids. Did not use kitchen but might have been a bit tight in space to cook and serve 8. We used it for 4 and was perfect size for us. Outside area nice. Pretty trees and nice place for morning coffee. Manager very helpful and responsive and we contacted her several times for stuff we should have figured out on our own!

Great little place!

This was a very nice little log cabin condo! The owners were incredibly responsive to any issues, usually responding within a half hour. The space was very clean, well lit, and well-furnished. They did an excellent job of maximizing the space while still leaving plenty of room for relaxation!

Our only regret was not staying longer...

This place is awesome! My wife and I loved it. The place was very clean, very comfortable, and just nice to be at. We loved getting in some golf and also spending time on lake Otsego. Our only regret was not staying longer! We loved the place - I can't say enough good things about it. We're hoping to book again next year and will definitely be staying a bit longer since we loved the cabin and surrounding area so much. Thank you to our host for everything. Booking, check-in...everything was easy and exactly how I think most travelers like things to be. We appreciate you having us at the cabin and would love to be back next year!

Great place in Gaylord!

We really enjoyed our time in Gaylord and having a great place to stay at! We stayed very busy and always looked forward to coming back to the house to rest up in a comfortable setting. The golf course area is very nice, plenty of room for our 3 year old to play, and nice kitchen for cooking meals for the family.
