Fully Renovated Condo - Sleeps 7!

The Woods is owned and managed locally right here in Canadian Lakes, MI about 15 minutes from Big Rapids. We cater to everything from quick overnight stays, to long term rentals. With being so close to Big Rapids and Ferris State University, this is a great location to stay for all of the events that Ferris has to offer. The Woods isn't just a place to stay - it's a place to make memories. We have two buildings, both of which have been completely remodeled, but each with their own interior touches. With one building being called "The Lodge" and the other "The Retreat", we wanted to make sure that both buildings were comfortable, but also gave our guests a choice in not only the bedding options but also in the overall vibe. If you have a special request or a package recommendation, we urge you to let us know. Whether you are coming for a few days or a few weeks, we look forward to making your stay a memorable experience!

Christmas in Mecosta

We travelled from Denver, Florida, New York and San Francisco to meet the local Michigan family members converging on Blue Lake for a typical Michigan Summer weekend...best part...celebrating Christmas in August and re-connecting with family. The Condos at The Woods were clean and my whole family were right next door. We all had our own little home away from home.

Great time!

The only issue we had was the rusty pans. We wanted to cook dinner but there wasn't anything that we could use. Just fyi, the light around the upstairs bathroom mirror is out. The beds were very comfortable, and loved the decor. Thanks so much.
