Guests can enjoy the great outdoors on the large and welcoming front deck or venture into the backyard and relax by the fully stocked pond or even gather round by a fire at the fire pit. The sounds of nature will be music to your ears in the summer months and the fireflies will dance through the night sky. This welcoming oasis is only 15 minutes from Fort Leonard Wood and is the perfect place to stay when traveling to attend your soldiers basic training graduation or visit for family day. Looking to visit the Lake of the Ozarks? No problem! Our home is only a short 45 minute drive away! If kayaking is one of your passions, the Gasconade River is only 12 minutes away. We had a great stay! We were attending our son’s graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. This was the perfect location since it is close to the base. We were able to relax with our soldier on family day. It was so peaceful and felt like home. The host was great and provided everything we needed. We have stayed at several vacation rentals and this was one of the best experiences.

Vanessa was awesome and the amenities were great! Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed making this our home away from home to spend time with our grandsons for Thanksgiving. Ideal for families visiting their loved ones at FLW.

We picked up our son from basic training/AIT for family day and graduation. This space allowed us all to relax around the pond & fire pit & inside was spacious enough for all of us to b comfortable even with a 4 mth old.

The pictures of this house do it no justice!!!! It is breathtaking! The inside is super spacious and the all over design is beautiful. There are a lot of little touches you can’t see in the pictures, and if you want to know what they are you’ll need to rent the house.Vanessa was very hands on and answered all of my questions promptly. This house is more than a rental property to her, it’s a place filled with love and warmth. The house has everything, and I mean EVERYTHING you’ll need for your stay other than food and drinks. I’m not sure if my daughter will be stationed at Ft Leonard Wood again but if she is I will definitely be staying here again (if it’s available).10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Kitchen was fully equipped with extra amenities not usually provided. The host definitely above anything expected. Property was very clean and comfortable. The view from the master deck was gorgeous.

Everything was perfect! They had everything ready for us and a full kitchen to cook in when we wanted. Everything was clean and it was such a beautiful setup. We had a wonderful time and would stay again if in the area.

This was a great place to stay. Perfect for our large family. Check-in was very simple and owner was easily accessible. We came down to visit with my son at fort Lenardwood. It was the perfect distance. Highly recommend this property.

Basic Training Graduation

We went out to watch my son graduate from Basic Training at Ft. Leonard Wood and chose this home for my son to relax in family day. It was the best decision we could have made. The house was perfect! Would definitely look into staying there again!! Thank you!

Soldier Getaway

Our son graduated from basic training at Fort Leonard Wood so my family drove in to be there for family day and graduation day. Both days our son got off base passes to spend time with family, he invited 3 other soldiers to join him to come back to the cabin and enjoy some relaxation after a long 10 weeks. All of the soldiers took over the bunk room and rested, used phone time and played games for the whole time on both family day and graduation day. The cabin was able to accommodate all of us.

Amazing spot for families!

A thousand stars!! We were in the Fort Leonard Wood area for my son’s graduation from MP school and were searching for a place where we could get together with family and friends. This is the place! Modern amenities (kitchen is fully equipped for any meal), up to date appliances and bathrooms were clean and up to date. Host was amazing with communication and made sure we were happy. This is the place you want to stay if you want space for your family in a quiet country setting with all the amenities. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Family & Friends Getaway

We chose this cute property to have our annual vacation with friends. No problems, comfortable amenities, and lots of room. Our dogs loved running around the property and the evening campfires were a perfect ending to each day. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience

We stayed here for a basic training graduation of a family member. The second we arrived and walked through the door we felt at home. This home is beautiful and the host was amazing. We had a great time visiting and it made our stay in Missouri very nice. Our large family was able to spend quality time with our new soldier and enjoy the amenities here.

Thanksgiving getaway

We booked this cabin to get away for a few days for Thanksgiving and it was perfect! The house and property were beautiful and comfortable. We had a great time and highly recommend staying here!

A-Frame

Very clean, well stocked with basic needs and quiet area. Would visit again if ever in the area. There was a very annoying pit bull dog in the neighborhood that barked and chased the car many times when entering and leaving the area.

Hosts thought of everything!

This was the perfect place for our family while we attended my son’s basic training graduation. We have 6 children and my parents stayed with us as well as one of my son’s friends. The host thought of everything. Spices in the cabinets, a working grill, wood for the fire pit, shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the bathrooms, the beds were comfy, towels smelled amazing, plenty of space and bedding for everyone. It’s gorgeous, clean, and easy peasy to drive to and from the base. The host was so kind and helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend!

My family stayed here for a graduation from basic training at Fort Leonard Wood. It was about 15 min away. It was very nice and clean. It was also out on the country and peaceful.

Beautiful

18 mins. from Fort Leonard Wood. Being away on private property gave our solider the ability to put PJ’s on and relax. The house was perfect. The beds were very comfortable. The absolute cleanest house we have ever stayed in. Lots of small amenities that made this house a home. Communication with the owner was great. Fire pit was nice. We had fun feeding the fish. I would highly recommend this home.
