Rockaway Beach has many activities to offer for families including kite flying, hiking, and 7 miles of beach to roam. Rockaway Beach is a pet friendly community and we are a pet friendly home!

Perfect for three people. House was clean and smelt nice. Well stocked. Comfy beds. The private front porch with gate was really nice for us and the dogs. Beware of neighbor to the south, he is not dog friendly.

Cute, clean, great location

This place was a great location within walking distance of shops and the beach. It was clean and well organized. I’d come back again!

Distance was nice to restaurants and convenient stores. It was obvious the property had not been rented in a while. Lock box/front door was covered in LARGE spiders/webs, and the front entrance area wasn’t maintained well. It was nice enough, but I would not rent again.

Lovely House very close to everything

This place is very close to the neighborhood market, restaurants and most important to the beach. Neighborhood is very safe . I highly recommend it if you plan to visit this area.

Fun is what best describes our stay

Property was nice and cozy. Had to negotiate a parking spot with other vacationers in the area but we worked it out. Everything in this town is walkable. It's also home to the original Corn Dog! Also, home of St. Mary's by the Sea. Great church on the Beach and very intimate Mass. Enjoy the food and take time to forget time for a few days!

Rockaway cottage

Great little place! But need to stock bathroom towels and washcloths ! We didn’t have any washcloths and no extra amenities like coffee etc did enjoy the closeness to town and beach ! Had a great time

Cute, quiet little house

We had a great time at this property! The house is on dead-end street, and very short walk to the beach. We appreciated that dogs were welcome. The house is so relaxing, and nicely decorated and well-stocked with quality supplies. Great place for a couple or possibly couple with 1-2 kids. Will definitely book again!

Love Rockaway

Super cute property, away from the hub-bub of the main drag. The interior is completely updated, really nice main bedroom, 2nd bedroom could use some touches. Kitchen well stocked and updated. Great little front porch for morning coffee. We will definitely book again. Thank you!!

Great getaway

The property is close enough to walk anywhere, but far enough away to be very quiet. Nice to have the washer and dryer. The beds were comfortable. Our truck was too big to use the parking space in front of the property, however, there was parking just steps away.

Greeted by drunk neighbor

It was interesting
. We pulled up and parked 
 I must say parking was only suitable for a compact car
 and a drunk neighbor walks up to my wife who was dressed like angel from heaven 
 and started being belligerent 
 it was a delightful way to start out stay

Perfect getaway

We decided to get out of town for the long weekend and this place was perfect. The little touches for the dog were great too. We even bought one of the toys for our dog when we got home because he enjoyed it so much. The short walk to the shops and beach was great. For some reason the capacity shows 3 when there are 4 beds including the sleeper couch. Technically it could sleep 6. There is only room for one car though. We appreciated all of the little amenities. It was great to have a washer and dryer too because one of our kids needed to have some items cleaned after an accident and we didn’t have to cart it home to clean up. The one thing that we were puzzled by was the blinds on the front of the house being cut off so they only covered 2/3 of the window. This made it uncomfortable to change for bed with the light on in the bedroom. That is truly the only thing I could find fault in. We’d definitely stay here again. It was great to visit Rockaway too because it had been a long time.

Holiday get away

There were many positive things about our stay here and a few misses. It is safe and the location is great. It is an easy and short walk to downtown and the coast. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. These are all big positives. Overall, it was clean but there were a few things that were odd. Upon arriving, there was a bath towel hanging in the bathroom. I don’t know if that towel was clean or had been used. There were dishes in the dishwasher and a sponge on the counter. Most places have sponges individually wrapped from the factory so you know it clean and hasn’t been used. The dishwasher is very compact and does not hold many dishes. The owner left 2 soap pods for the dishwasher. With 4 people staying and the size of the dishwasher, it was easy to do more than 2 loads of dishes but there was no more soap for the dishwasher and you were left washing dishes by hand with the only sponge left on the sink. The washing machine only has two soap pods as well. There was one box of Kleenex and a spare roll of toilet paper. No extras at all. There was no bath mat to step on after getting out of the shower. The owner said there was a “waffle print” bath mat but that was a towel. We used the towel that we found hanging up. There were no wash cloths for your face or hand towels for the bathroom. The owner said there were some in the kitchen but those were dish towels. I had buy wash cloths and hand towels for the bathroom. A mirror in the bedroom is needed.
