Hi, Iâm Sara! Iâm currently based in Florida but originally from Connecticut, so New Haven will always hold a special place in my heart. That local connection is part of what inspired me to create a stay that feels as comfortable and inviting as homeâbecause, in many ways, it is.
This house was a true labor of loveâpersonally renovated with care, creativity, and a whole lot of YouTube tutorials. From the layout to the finishing touches, Iâve thoughtfully designed each space to help guests feel relaxed, inspired, and well taken care of.
When Iâm not hosting, I work as a hospital IT trainerâa role that combines teaching, technology, and the satisfaction of helping others (not unlike hospitality!). Outside of work, Iâm happiest exploring new places, spending time outdoors, and tackling hands-on DIY projectsâespecially the ones that turn everyday spaces into something special.

East Shore, in particular, felt like the perfect blend of peaceful charm and convenienceâclose to Yale, beaches, parks, and downtown, yet tucked into a quiet, residential neighborhood. I still visit CT often to see family, and I love being able to share this part of the state with guests.

With two kitchens, three living rooms, a private gym, a cinema room, and a seasonal pool, thereâs space for everyone to relax or gather together. Weâve also added thoughtful touches for kids, remote workers, and long-term staysâso it really feels like a home away from home.
