The house was clean, well maintained, well stocked and extremely comfortable. The backyard was perfect for sitting around the fire pit or playing some lawn games. We didn't use the grill but it looked brand new. The host and I texted and he was friendly and available for any questions we had. It's a 15-minute drive to some of the best pizza in the Northeast and an 18-minute walk to a beach and a lighthouse and a park and picnic area with a carousel.Really made for a fantastic weekend. My friends and I plan on coming back!

We booked this home for a family wedding nearby. The host was great to work with- very responsive and helpful with clear instructions; check-in and out was easy. We had small children with us- a toddler/baby and the toys and amenities for small kids were amazing! We were a bit disappointed that there wasn't more to do in the surrounding area.

Im glad you found the house to be perfect for your family of all ages. I wish I knew what you were looking for to entertain yourself after the wedding that was 2 blocks away, I certainly would have pointed you in the right direction. There are world-class restaurants, museums, breweries, libraries, famous architecture all within a few miles. There are also playgrounds and beaches within walking distance. If you need to entertain your kids there are jump parks, a children's museum, pottery/art studios and a movie theater within 10-15 mins of the house. The city has it all, you just have to look. Chris

Hi There! My name is Chris and my wife Brittaney I just moved in to this beautiful house in November of 2021. I am a long-time New Haven resident and I LOVE this city! We hosted our previous home in Wooster Square for years until we recently moved here. You couldn't ask for a better space to entertain than this! We are very excited to share our home and ideally I would like to rent to families or large groups coming in to New Haven for special weekends at Yale, including Alumni, Graduation weekend, and local Weddings. We look forward to meeting you soon!

Wedding venues Amarante's Sea Cliff and Anthony's Ocean View are both right down the street, making this the PRIME spot vs any hotel in the area. Connecticut famous beaches are only 15 minutes away. Best of both worlds, close to downtown and equally close to the shore. Entertain your friends and large family with an open floor plan and over 4,000 square feet of living space. Outdoor space nicely appointed for everyone's privacy and enjoyment.
