This idyllic area allows you to enjoy beach life at Lake Michigan and nightly sunsets in this comfortable, spacious and newly updated home. This dream vacation spot awaits and is nestled in the Lost Valley community, located in Montague.

Whether you are seeking a peaceful and relaxing vacation, or something more active, this area has it all. The expansive low bluff beach (with access) is located right across the street. There are two other beach access points as well , where you can enjoy the beach, sand and the waves crashing on the pristine shoreline. The landscape of the Great Lake changes daily, to calm serene waters, to large waves and everything in between. If you enjoy walking on the beach, you can walk for miles. If you love sunsets, they are spectacular!

This clean and freshly sanitized home has plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to gather as a group, or places for solitude and recharging. The outdoor deck (with motorized shade awnings) can seat a large group comfortably with new and comfortable chairs and outdoor adjustable dining table. The beds are new and comfortable, as are most of the furnishings. We also provide beach towels, sand toys, boogie boards, sand wagon, chaise and beach chairs for your beach experience as well.

The beach is connected to Meinert Park and Flowers Creek Dune Nature Preserve. You can stroll on the shoreline, hike the wooded trails, or splash in Flower Creek.

There are many year round activities nearby (in addition to the beach) for every season. Double JJ Ranch, Michigan Adventures, Happy Mohawk Livery, Golf Course, Disk Golf, horseback riding, fishing off the pier at White Lake channel nearby and much more. Muskegon Sport Complex offers luge opportunities (even in summer), zip line, hiking scavenger hunt and more. This property is 60 minutes from Grand Rapids, 3 hours from Chicago, 40 minutes to Ludington, 2 hours to Sleeping Bear Dunes.

Misc:
* Spotty Cell Coverage, ATT works better than Verizon
* DOGS are not permitted by renters (HOA rule). You may see dogs in the valley, however it's only because cottage owners are allowed pets. Violation of this rule with result in a fine.

** No fires allowed of any kind, in any area (no beach fire, fireplace, fire pit) - we are far away from the Fire Station and dune grass is extremely flamable
** Event Policy - Large Events are not allowed. Ok for family gatherings during the day, however, evening parties and loud music and noise is strictly prohibited past 11pm. (HOA Rules)
** 11:00 pm all external lights will need to be out and noise to minimum
** Please adhere to the strict 10 MPH speed limit in the Valley
** Please only walk on dune trails areas as marked
Your approved reservations is agreeing to the above rules. Violators will be fined and may be asked to leave and forfeit their reservation.


***Please note that summer rentals (June through August) are offered by the week and run Saturday through Saturday. If you need flexibility with days, please reach out.

During the Non-Summer season, we offer more flexibility and nightly stays. This is a YEAR ROUND vacation rental.
