This was our 9th ski season in a row staying at the Bavarian Chalet and we plan to be back next year for #10. The Chalet is very clean, well stocked, and conveniently located. The service Elfi and Jon provide is Ritz Carlton quality which is no surprise once you learn their story.

The place was spotless and very nicely furnished. A very homey feel. Lacked for nothing. Complete kitchen supplies, could prepare a sophisticated meal. Even little things like detergent for laundry supplied. Real fireplace was setup for us and ready to light-up. Hosts are delightful. Morning paper delivered daily. Quick access to the slopes of Vail via parking pass. Would definitely book it again!

We had a wonderful experience staying at the chalet this winter. Thank you Elfi, Jon, and Mishka for the warm welcome, the tour of the house, and the treats!Everything was in perfect working order, including the hot tub. The snow was plowed early each morning and we were pleasantly surprised to our clean as well. The house is a seven-minute drive to Lionshead and three minutes to the City Market plaza.We would definitely love to stay again if we get the chance. Thank you again for everything!

Amazing place with caring and welcoming hosts. One of disappearing true Аirbnb experiences, like visiting family. Chalet have everything to cook gourmet meal, good grill, sharp knifes, utensils , ect. My group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bavarian Chalet. It was very clean, well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cookware and plenty of spices. The beds were quality, and the sheets, comforters, towels, etc. very cozy. It is situated in a nice, quiet neighborhood, with easy access to the supermarket, liquor store, and a few eateries. And it is an easy, short drive to the slopes of Vail. The Vail parking pass was a bonus. (Saved us 200 in parking!). The thing that stood out the most for us…the hosts. Elfie and Jon are sweethearts. It’s clear they are very good at, and thoroughly enjoy, hosting. They often greeted us with a smile and a tip. And the fresh baked muffins…YUM! We (4 hardcore skiers) all agreed that we would stay at the Bavarian Chalet any time we come to Vail.

Beautiful property! The chalet was very comfortable, clean and has everything you need for an excellent stay in west Vail. Elfi, Jon and Mishka are the best hosts and they are available to answer any questions about things to do in and around Vail. We enjoyed visiting with them! The chalet is within close proximity to many neat towns and hiking. We hope to return again soon!

Beautiful Mountain Retreat!

We loved our stay at the Bavarian Chalet! Elfi and Jon were wonderful hosts, giving us a tour and making sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the morning chats with Jon and their beautiful dog Mishka! The place was spotless and had everything we needed. We enjoyed soaking in the private hot tub at the end of the day and the views of the mountains were gorgeous. We would definitely stay there again when we return to Vail!

What a beautiful, clean and cozy place! So close to the slopes and the parking pass was a huge perk. The bedrooms were impeccable and the kitchen better stocked than my own. I highly recommend staying here to even the most discerning travelers.

We Love the James Family ! This is the second Year for the James Family Holiday Vacation @ our Bavarian-Chalet.... so for our appreciation we invited the James Family for a special Christmas Dinner big smiles when the arrive …. ski all day … and when is departure time still happy smiles and ready for next year's booking my favorite Guests : enjoy everyday skiing and relax in the Hot-Tub and sit by the fire and count the blessings for the next day 5 Stars all around and please come back soon!!!!

Chalet is an Excellent place to stay.

Property is very comfortable. We had 4 adults. Beds very great. Kitchen high end with excellent cookware. Living room has comfy leather chairs and sofa. Wood burning stove worked well and added to coziness of the chalet. Hot tub is great especially after a hard day skiing. We’ve stayed here several times and continue to rate property as 5 star. Entire property spotless. Hosts extremely accommodating. We hope to be back next year!

Christmas at the Bavarian Chalet

This was our 7th year in a row staying at the Bavarian Chalet. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub each day after skiing then hanging out by the fire. One evening we grilled steaks on the outdoor grill. The hosts are amazing and have thought of everything. The dinner Elfi prepared for us on Saturday night was amazing. I can't think of a better place, with better hosts, than the Bavarian Chalet to stay at in Vail Valley. We can't wait to return next year!

Fabulous Summer Getaway

The property is a beautiful Bavarian chateau surrounded in spring/summer flowers, hummingbirds and mountain trees! Nestled in West Vail close to the Village, grocery stores and slopes, it’s also a short walk to the Davos trailhead with breathtaking views of the Valley. Inside, both the living and sleeping rooms are very comfortable, and the house is stocked with all you need for cooking, eating and enjoying. Our on-property hosts, Elfi and Jon, were delightful and interesting people tending to the flowers and landscaping, and our every need.
