Enter through one of two gates at the horseshoe driveway, past the 8-foot tall privacy fence and forget that you are in the middle of the city at this location with a park-like setting. Enjoy your expansive space overlooking large mature oak trees, maple trees, and pecan trees on the front porch chairs, on the back porch swings, around the firepit, the chicken enclosure (with fresh eggs for you to grab out of the laying boxes, when they are laying) or at the elevated deck in the middle of the back yard. All of this in the middle of the city with all amenities very closeby!

Comfortable Stay

This was a wonderful home to stay in while away from our home in SC. The house was welcoming, and surrounded by a beautiful, private, yard. The location felt like we were away from everything, yet the stores and restaurants were right up the street. A big thank you to Mark for being a great host!

Home Away From Home

I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful home, and I cannot recommend it enough! The location is absolutely perfect—nestled in a peaceful, serene area that feels like a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The surroundings were quiet, with beautiful nature all around, offering the perfect setting for a relaxing retreat.The house itself was spotless, impeccably clean, and well-maintained. It was clear that a lot of thought went into making it as comfortable and welcoming as possible. Every detail was taken care of, from the cozy furnishings to the fully equipped kitchen, making it feel like a home away from home.What truly made the experience exceptional was the host. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and responsive throughout our stay. Quiet, private place to relax

This was a wonderful property that was perfect for a bunch of family visiting for the holidays. Plenty of parking and an open floorplan made for a cozy place to relax and unwind while in town to visit family. Everything was clean and ready to go when we arrived, and check-in check-out was painless. I would stay here again!

Spacious Family Farmhouse

What a perfect home to spend time with Family from out of town. Beautiful outdoor space, located close to both Houston and Galveston Island. Finding fresh eggs from the Chickens was such a treat! Hope to stay here again.

HAPPY NOT SAD

We rented this property so that our immediate family could stay together while attending the funeral of a close relative. The home was so nice and relaxing that we felt a warmth. It was so convenient and had all the amenities we needed and more. We greatly appreciate the kindness and immediate help that our host gave. I had to contact him too many times and he always helped. Some of my problems were really dumb because I was so distracted, but he kindly fixed all of them. Can't say enough! He even left us flowers for our arrival and expressed sympathy. It was in such a convenient location! We were near a supermarket and restaurants and it was so easy to get to the other family house. We will certainly stay there again when we are in town or doing anything in the vicinity. Also VERY EASY ACCESS TO HOUSTON HOBBY AIRPORT.

Comfortable and convenient

The home was very nice, the end bedroom' of the 3 had a few issues. The motion light outside of their bedroom came on constantly making it hard to sleep. The kitchen could use a better variety of Nonstick frying pans. Loved the gas stove top. Had to buy some steak knives for a dinner party with visiting family. Overall the it was very comfortable and loved the backyard set-up for entertaining. We all traveled quite a distance for a wedding and did have company over, the space and atmosphere was perfect for entertaining. Thank you.

Modern farmhouse

Really enjoyed our stay here. Pretty home and nice big yard. The house was very well maintained, clean and had everything we needed. Our communication with the owner was prompt and accommodating. This will be our go to house for all future visits to the area. Would not hesitate to rent it again.

Farmhouse Stay

Great property! House is very nice and the backyard is nice as well. I enjoyed drinking a cup of coffee in the morning on the patio. We were in town for a wedding and were vefy busy so it was nice to have a place to come to that was so relaxing.
