Enjoy a quiet stay on our 40 acre hobby farm in the adorable town of Sugar Camp. Sleep 8 comfortably in our 3 bedroom one bath home, perfectly located 10 minutes from downtown Eagle River and 9 miles from Rhinelander. Enjoy our beautiful fields and watch our horses graze, walk across the street for a great breakfast at Dee Dee's diner, or take a one minute drive and swim at the Sugar Camp public beach. Super easy access to the Sugar Camp snowmobile trails!

I rented this for my son and his family while they were visiting. It is very comfortable, very clean, good location in Sugar Camp. No problems or concerns where we needed to contact the host. But we did meet the wife and the horses. We will definitely rent again when family visits

Convenient location from the Rhinelander airport & Eagle River where our event was located. The furnace wasn’t working properly but the owner made sure we were comfortable by providing space heater & electric fireplace- all good. Plenty of towels & blankets provided & appreciated. The beautiful sunsets, horses & crowing rooster were a huge bonus!

This place could be a gem but it's in need of a serious deep clean. The couch and living rug smelled of wet dog. It looks like no one has swept under the beds in a long time. It was a good thing they had a washer and dryer because when we got there every single towel (folded and put away in the closet) was wet! We had to dry all the towels (thankful they were not mildewy yet). The location is great and the place was well stocked with essentials. Our kids loved the open spaces and seeing the animals. Some other suggestions would include a floor lamp in the living area for additional lighting, fans for the bedrooms, and curtains or shades for the main window in the living room. Our stay was fine but this was not a place we would book again.

Convenient stay

Cozy little house close to Eagle River. Easy to find right off the main road. Property owners quick to respond and easy to work with! We love animals and saw a couple cute dogs and a beautiful rooster wandering the property. Would have loved to go out to the fence to see the horses but it rained the majority of our time. However, we could still see them from the window.

Cute little country rental

Very nice rental, clean and beautiful view. Watch the horses graze in the field and enjoy a cocktail on the deck. Would definitely rent again. A couple extra mirrors would be nice, since there is only one bathroom. And the 2 roosters are a bit obnoxious with all the crowing. Otherwise we had an amazing stay.

Mountain bike home base

A great spot for our mountain bike race. Cozy home on beautiful property. Friendly roosters will make sure you don’t oversleep and miss out on the beautiful area! Enjoyed the White Stag supper club nearby.
