The house is absolutely beautiful! High end furnishings and everything you could possibly need. The host was very fast with replies to our questions. Upon pulling up to the house we were a little thrown off by the neighborhood. It is definitely an up and coming area, in walking distance to several hotspots. Don’t let the neighborhood scare you, we never had any issues and safely walked to Riverwalk and taco stand daily. We will definitely be staying there again when visiting my son stationed at Fort Sam Houston, less than 20 min drive.

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary and everything was up to par. Check in was easy, loved how there was a video to show how it worked before hand along with the fireplace. The house is very beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet. The hot tub was super easy to use and worked AMAZING. The host was very responsive and helpful when I had questions about the property. Would definitely recommend.

Great Home close to all San Antonio attractions

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. The owner was very helpful and the little extras in the house were a nice touch. While the location is great for getting to attractions and the home itself is really nice, the neighborhood has some run-down houses.

Great home in “Developing” Area

Beautiful house with great interior and amenities. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy if you are not accustomed to urban living! We felt safe while in the house but not so much in the neighborhood. The interior is very well appointed and rooms flow with ease! Dee is great with communication!

Darling house - great property management

The house is precious on the inside and decorated darling. The beds were SO comfortable, and my husband really enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. The Property Manager was over the top customer service oriented. She responded within 5 minutes every time I reached out -- amazing and unheard of!

I stayed here with my two kids and my husband. When I booked this place I thought it would be a great fit for us and from the pictures looked clean and well maintained. When we checked in that was not the case and the house was not clean and it looked abandoned for months . Spider webs and dust were in every corner, fan blades, light fixtures, blinds and worst off all the HVAC air returns were so dirty that I ended up having to remove a thick layer of film of dust. This was pretty disappointing to walk in to. The owner must’ve been completely aware since they had an air filter posted at every other outlet it seemed which was very odd seeing as how the entire house was tile. My immediate thought was what kind of odor are they trying to hide if there wasn’t any carpet…When I addressed all these issues to the host on the same day she never responded so we had to circle back again the next day. However, the owner denied ever receiving any notice. After our first two nights when we resent all the pictures and showed her proof of the situation she apologized and her advice was to leave and she would reimburse us for our next night which was very disappointing and unsympathetic. My list could go on and I wish I could upload all my pictures for ppl to see what they are truely offering. In addition to the properties lack of cleanliness was the neglect with performing some of the minimum standards of home maintenance. ex showers & toilets.
All hvac returns were dirty
More lights full of dust
Lighting above the island in kitchen
More webs from the spiders next to vent hood

Hi Christopher, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. I also want to clarify that we did not receive any messages or notifications from you until two days after check-in. It seems the number you attempted to text may not have been correct, which is why we always recommend communicating through the Airbnb app to ensure nothing is missed. Had we been aware of these concerns at check-in, we would have immediately sent our cleaners to address the dust you mentioned. While dust can sometimes be missed, we take cleanliness very seriously and consistently receive excellent 5 star ratings for our home through our past 3 years hosting. Regarding spiders, they can occasionally appear due to the natural surroundings of our area, but we do our best to manage this with regular treatments and cleaning. We truly value our guests and always do our best to resolve issues promptly when we are informed. I’m sorry we didn’t have the opportunity to address your concerns during your stay.

À propos de l’hôte

Hôte : Dee Beltran

Image de profil de l’hôte
My husband and I were born and raised in San Antonio, TX. I am a middle school science teacher downtown and my husband works in finance. I have always had a passion for interior design and as a little girl watched HGTV for countless hours with my mom dreaming of someday designing a home of my own! So, in 2019, we built the Dignowity Dreamhouse and I personally designed everything from the customized vent-hood to the color of the grout between the tiles. We had initially planned for this to be our forever home but little did we know that 1 daughter and 3 furbabies later we would quickly outgrow it. So instead, it is now our forever home to share with the rest of the world. This home is filled with so much love and memories and we hope you will love it as much as we do!
