Our host went out of his way to make us feel safe and welcome! Bad weather was expected on the day of our arrival, so he let us come a day early at no extra charge! We throughly enjoyed our stay. Emporium and the Pennsylvania Wilds are an absolute gem.

Nice Emporium stay

Spent the weekend here for a family function. The apartment was well appointed with what we needed. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We would stay again on the next trip to Emporium.

Centrally located to Elk country & all activities

Very nicely appointed apartment. The owners have done a great job. On our next visit we will see if there's a 1st floor apartment which would be easier on our artificial hips & knees...highly recommend!!

Fall weekend in the mountains

The apartment is well maintained, stocked, comfy and very quiet. Our host quickly answered any questions and we appreciated having coffee and tea available. We loved sitting on the swing just off the back porch in the evening and listening to the 6:00 chimes and bells from a nearby church. Though we didn’t use the fire pit, it looked inviting. We took a drive to the top of South Mountain and enjoyed the view of the valley as well as amazing fall drives around the area. Twisted Sisters ice cream is delish. Aroma cafe is excellent and Pizza Palace has so many more menu options. A great weekend in hubby’s home town.

Perfect place for a great getaway.

We enjoyed our stay in beautiful Emporium. The unit was perfect, we were able to cook our own meals and enjoyed them on the back porch. We used the fire pit. The neighborhood was great, we saw kids playing at twilight, it was like a throwback to simpler times. We did have some partiers kind of ruin our last night, but the host promised a free night our next stay. It’s a shame adults don’t know how to behave, but what are you gonna do? Karma is a you know what. We will return, during the week to avoid the weekend jerks.

Elk weekend

This place was very clean and cozy. As another person said gps tried to take us down oneway so already was aware. So just need to go down to next road. And was a little far to Bezennete 45 minutes. But we had a great weekend. But we had a great weekend

Weekend Getaway

Apartment was clean and comfortable. We had a nice campfire the first night and enjoyed the views from the back yard. It was a little difficult to find using the GPS as it was trying to take us on One way streets the wrong direction.

Great place for 4 single adults to stay while taking day trips over a long weekend. Very clean!
