One of a kind, fully furnished cabin on Winslow Hill. The warmth of the cabin starts with the unique rough cut exterior porches and flows inside with custom made doors and ceilings to match. Large bedroom with bathroom allow you stretch out and enjoy your getaway. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for you to cook your favorite meal. Relax and watch the game or your favorite movie on the big screen tv. Take in the sweeping views of Winslow Hill and take a short walk to The Elk Viewing Area, boarding the property. Enjoy the front and back porch and wait for the Elk to come out and feed. We are just a five minute drive to The Elk Country Visitor Center.

Cabin was as described and more! So cozy and the snow made even more so. Dan, the host, is great! Kitchen was stocked with all cooking essentials which for us is a need be. Anticipation for Elk proved great! We will return!

Host DAN was great!!! The cabin was perfect and very clean and cozy. My husband and I enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend staying here. Five stars!!!!!!!

Perfect location

Very nice and clean property everything a couple needs to complete a wonderful stay. Private back yard with a deck is very relaxing and located perfectly for short drives to locate elk.

Very nice and clean cabin. Which we had more time. We got in very late and left a little before checkout. Wish there wasnt construction going on right next door early in the morning but they are building another cabin and i guess they have to work sometime. Was hoping to see some elk bit didn't. Loved sitting on the porch.

excellent stay very appropriately named cozy cabin. perfect for two people to have a relaxing stay. very clean and supplied with everything you could need. all you need to bring is food and clothing....and maybe binoculars for watching wildlife.

We loved our stay here at "The Coop" absolutely perfect place for 2 people. Super cute and squeaky clean. Peaceful setting and so relaxing. Highly recommend Dan's place. Hope we can stay here again sometime

Came to see the elk in July and was not disappointed. The accommodations were excellent. Almost hated to leave the cabin but the elk were only a short walk away.

The Coop is Excellent

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Coop and can not wait to return!! The Coop is a quaint, cozy, beautiful cabin with a great location. The woodwork throughout the cabin is beautiful, as well as the impeccable cleanliness and upkeep of the cabin. The cabin has everything you need inside and out and then some. The gift shop, Bert's Roost, is also beautiful and has a lot of great items. Betty is so sweet and we enjoyed chatting with her while shopping.During our stay we enjoyed viewing the Elk (saw 30, including 1 Bull and 2 Babies) - Majority at Winslow, but also at Hicks and behind Benezette General Store (Station Rd), during sunrise & sunset. We also made our way to Gray Hill Rd, Elk Visitor Center, Woodring Farm and Dents Run viewing areas, but no success. Outside of the Elk, we saw many deer, turkeys and 2 porcupines.Thank you Dan (and Betty) for the wonderful hospitality and the beautiful cabin. We will definitely be back and looking forward to our next stay!
