Ojai Vallerio Cottage: Peaceful Ojai Retreat with lovely grounds and garden

Behind a private gate lies your perfect retreat! One mile from downtown Ojai along the bike bath, our newly renovated house boasts a spacious open floor plan, and a large garden with lovely outside seating and mountain views. You will be within easy reach of downtown Ojai with its shops, athletic club, Inn, farmers market, restaurants, and park. You can also slip through the neighborhood for an easy walk to the Ojai Valley Preserve (open space) and you are only 15 minutes from the beaches in Ventura and Carpenteria.

The house has two bedrooms (K, Q) and two full baths with working tubs and showers. The "casita" in the back yard can serve as an extra sleeping nook (shown here with twin bed), office, or yoga/fitness room. The house sleeps 5, and we also provide supplies for babies and toddlers (pack and play, changing table, child’s tent and tables/chairs). Your children or grandchildren are entirely welcome.

The large yard provides generous outdoor seating and play areas, with multiple spots to read, nap, or catch the sun. This is a perfect space for solitude or entertaining. Dogs are welcome and will be safe and happy in the fenced yard.

Amenities include a backyard wood grill, Smart TV, central air conditioning/heat, and working fireplace. Cook's kitchen includes new stove, oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator, blender, coffee maker, and other useful appliances. Garage with EV charger and full driveway as well as street parking in quiet neighborhood. Washer and dryer are located in the garage, as are beach chairs/umbrella, cooler, and wetsuits for your beach adventures.

The house holds 5 individuals maximum (excepting small children). Minimum stay is 30 days per Ojai City ordinance.
