ON THE ISLAND IN CAPE MAY | WATER VIEWS

Newly renovated home on the Canal in Cape May! Enjoy a quiet retreat-just a 10 minute drive to the beach. Plenty of space for the whole family! Home features a beautiful spacious backyard with a patio & fire pit over looking the Canal. Relax outside in the hammock swing & watch the boats go by or sit inside & enjoy the views from the screen room, Master bedroom, or the kitchen with its wall of windows. On chilly nights enjoy a wood-burning fire inside!

The house is equipped with everything you need for your stay! (excluding linens)

NO LINENS PROVIDED.
BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS, TOWELS, AND BLANKETS.
*1 King bed, 1 Queen bed, 3 Twin beds

Pillows ARE provided.

Beach chairs & an Umbrella ARE provided (in the shed).
A cooler is provided.

Downstairs: Enjoy the views from a fully-equipped kitchen. 2 Coffee machines (brew pot AND keurig) provided. The cozy living room has a flat screen TV, sofa & loveseat. The sitting room has a wood-burning fire place for you to enjoy on chilly nights (fire wood provided out back). Powder room on first floor.
Upstairs: The master bedroom has a king size bed. Master bathroom attached (full bathroom with tile shower). The second bedroom has a queen size bed. The third bedroom has twin bunk beds and a twin bed for a total of 3 twin beds. 2nd full-size bathroom upstairs has a bathtub & shower combo. You will have access to a washer & dryer on the 2nd floor as well.

There is a large patio out back with a fire pit. The home also has a screen room on the back of the house and a fully equipped grill for all your bbq needs! Property has central heating & cooling.

Johnson Stay

Our stay at the farmhouse was beautiful. The best features were the open floor plan, the spacious outdoor deck, and the backyard overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway. It’s just a 5-minute ride to the beach within the community, which is dog-friendly with opportunities for fishing. Plus, the house itself is pet-friendly, which made it even better!

We had a great 4 night stay in Cape May. This house suited our family perfectly - great communal space for cooking/eating and card games! Comfortable bedrooms and a perfect outdoor space right on the canal. The location is great, a short drive to small shops and restaurants, as well as to the beaches. Host was very quick to respond to us, which was very much appreciated. Could not have asked for anything more, we truly enjoyed our stay.

Great!

It was a nice little house, comfortable and clean. Check in and check out were simple and very straightforward. Great location - 20 min drive to the zoo and less than 10 mins to Washington Street Mall, beach, etc. We didn’t have any pets with us but did notice that the house was very dog friendly with a gate around the backyard and even a dog food bowl in the kitchen.

House was clean plenty of rooms.fireplace room does need a bigger tv. And Bunkbeds room needs a television.do need bigger air conditions in bedrooms upstairs Backyard had a fence for my dog to roam free which was a blessing. Plenty of cabinets space for storing food. And having a garage that was easy accessible I would highly recommend it to family and friends and would stay again

Absolutely gorgeous, beautifully decorated house

The house was amazing, beautifully decorated, super clean and in a very quiet neighborhood on the canal. A beautiful fire pit with Adirondack chairs by the canal for watching boats and making s'mores. The only disappointment was there was no access to the canal because of high weeds and overgrown and broken steps to the canal. Nevertheless, I would still give this property the highest possible rating. You can't go wrong.

12 Days of Serenity

My wife and I plus our two four legged companions had the wonderful opportunity to stay at this beautiful home in June 2023. Weather was perfect, but even more perfect was this home, the layout, finishes, and location! SUPER easy to bike anywhere in Cape May from this home and if you have dogs, a 1 mile trip down to Higbee beach is just what they need for some salt water refreshment. From morning coffee on the back deck to fire pit at night on the canal, waving to all of the passing by boaters... we can't say enough great things about this home. This particular area of Cape May is fantastic, in that it is accessible to town, but when you are ready to "wine" down, the back yard is inviting, relaxing and quiet. We are very much looking forward to our next stay!
