Within a 10-mile radius, visitors will discover a tapestry of scenic wonders, including the pristine Benton Pond (across the street) and Grand Pond (a few miles down the road), perfect for tranquil water adventures and those yearning for lakeside serenity. The surrounding woodlands beckon hikers and mountain bikers with lush trails, while quaint New England towns like Great Barrington and Lee boast charming boutiques, art galleries, and farm-to-table eateries. History enthusiasts can explore nearby heritage sites, like the Norman Rockwell Museum, providing a glimpse into the region's artistic legacy. Whether you're seeking outdoor adventures, cultural experiences, or simply a peaceful retreat, East Otis and its surroundings promise an unforgettable getaway for visitors from afar.

Guests have access to the entire property.

The house is equipped with several smart devices: locks, thermostat, water sensors, lights, etc. Detailed instruction about the self-check in process will be provided in the check-in message. Once your reservation is complete, we will provide you with a link to our digital guidebook which contains further detailed instructions on how to operate the house to ensure your utmost comfort.

The electric charging station is available in the garage. It can be used once per car per day (the number of electric vehicles will be requested prior to check-in). We provide Tesla adapter.

Water equipment (kayaks, life-vests, chairs, etc) are available from Memorial day to Labor day.

The outdoor amenities (pizza oven, outdoor dining table and chairs, gas grill and firepit) are available from May until the end of October. Please send us a message to confirm availability as this will vary year after year.


Escape to Azure Grizzly Chalet, nestled on 3 acres of tranquil forest along the picturesque Benton Pond in the heart of the Berkshires. This recently renovated property offers a blend of luxury and comfort, featuring high-end furnishings, unique artwork, and top-quality amenities.

Inside, relax in well-appointed bedrooms with blackout shades, memory-foam mattresses, and hotel-grade linens. Each bathroom is stocked with premium toiletries and a hairdryer for your convenience. Families with young children will find a range of baby-proofing essentials, from high-chairs to travel beds.
The lower level offers two inviting bedrooms, while the main level boasts a bright, open living and dining space. A fully-equipped kitchen with premium appliances invites culinary creativity. Enjoy movie nights on the 80-inch TV, relax by the gas fireplace, or engage in board games. Step onto the patio for grilling or unwind in zero-gravity chairs amidst nature's symphony.
A screened 3-season "tree-house" porch offers a bug-free retreat from May to October. The main level features two more bedrooms, including a bunk bed option for families. In the loft, discover a cozy space for relaxation, adjacent to the master bedroom, en-suite bathroom and quiet office space.

Outside, gather around the wood-burning fire-pit, perfect for S'mores and camaraderie, cornhole, jenga and ax throwing (available as long as the snow is not accumulating, typically May through December, contact us to find out more). For leisure and entertainment, the garage boasts a fun-filled game area with basketball arcade, foosball, 4 in a row and more.
Expansive water equipment is available from Memorial day to Labor day including 5 kayaks, life-vests, beach chairs and more. We offer the perfect layout to explore Benton Pond via our direct lake access, right across the street, Ideal to take a swim!

There is plenty of parking space on the property. The 1-car garage equipped with an electric car charger .

take exit 41 towards Westfield
Keep right at the fork
After 2 miles, turn right onto Franklin St and continue onto US-20 or 5 miles
Turn left onto MA-23W for ~12 mile
The property will be on the left approx. 2 miles passed the East Otis city center (gas station, Katie's county store)

follow signs to I87 North towards Albany
take exit 21A towards I90 E/Massachusetts
Continue for ~ 28 miles
Take exit 10 for US-20E (7 miles)
Turn right onto MA-8S (6 miles)
Turn left onto MA-23E (2.5 miles)

Our guest safety and well-being is our priority. As such, we expect our guests to accept and follow our house policies. Please take a moment to familiarize with our policies, and reach out if you cant find them.

To guarantee the safety of our guests the property is equipped with outdoor security cameras.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the chalet. For safety purposes, smoke, noise and water sensors are located inside the property. We will be immediately notified once sensors detect unusual signals such as smoke or noise.

This property has 2 flights of stairs and is not designed to offer accessibility.

We require all guests to sign a liability waiver before being able to access the sauna and the water equipment. Printed copies are available at the property, instructions will be provided during check-in.

A baby safety gate is available to setup between the main floor and the mezzanine level (located in the jacket closet). We also offer a high chair and extra infant travel bed. We want to ensure the safety of your little ones.
