After a day of exploring the countryside, come back to enjoy luxurious wood finishes with cathedral ceilings and floor to ceiling stone fireplace that creates a cozy atmosphere throughout.  When it’s time to entertain, step onto the wraparound deck or stroll around the lovely stonework in your nice yard space. Perfectly situated on a dead-end road only minutes' walk from Quechee Village - this is truly Vermont living at its best!

As you enter this home, either from the primary entry way with mudroom, or from the attached garage, you will find yourself inside a truly remarkable log cabin home, with floor to ceiling wood finishes creating a warm and inviting interior for all to enjoy. The kitchen is to your immediate left with a expansive granite island complete with four bar stools for your friends and family to gather while you prepare incredible meals in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy fun conversation about the days activities. You can carry on this conversation at the farm style table in the dining area adjacent to the open kitchen. Through the kitchen and dining area you enter a grand two-story living room and you will be immediately taken by the floor to ceiling stone fireplace, coupled with ample seating, a large flat screen TV and picturesque views of the Quechee, VT woods!

Off the living room is a conveniently located main floor primary with a King bed and ensuite bathroom.  As you make your way up the timber staircase to the landing of the second floor, you can enjoy the scenery of the open living room below. To your left is a second guest room with a king bed.  In the center hall is a full bathroom conveniently located to both guest rooms. The main level primary bedroom and second level guest rooms all offer added year round comfort with AC units.

The lower level of this home offers a second flexible family area with plenty of space to spread out to play games (board or console), have a friendly ping pong tournament, practice yoga or enjoy a flick on the flat screen TV.  For added ease this space also offers a wet bar with mini fridge and is adjoined by a half bathroom and laundry room.  Off this space to your left is a third guest room with a Queen bed and its own television and to your right is a fourth guest room with a queen bed and full ensuite!  This home is truly a place to make lasting memories!

Bed setup: main level - king bed, second level - king bed, lower level - a queen and a queen.

Guest Access:
We offer convenient door codes for self-check-in. Quechee Lakes Rentals by Portoro uses convenient keyless entry for self check-in, details provided 2 weeks (or less) prior to arrival by email and text message.

• Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 3 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure.

This home offers exclusive access to The Quechee Club. There is something for everyone at The Quechee Club, an outdoor enthusiast's haven and every outdoor whim.

In the summer months, members and renters can enjoy several outdoor activities. The Club offers two championship 18-hole golf courses, Lakeland & Highland, with stunning scenery and conditions. Tennis courts are spread throughout the community with professional tennis lessons and enjoyable competition. Renters can also enjoy the state-of-the-art aquatic center featuring an indoor & outdoor pool with an active kid's zone. Likewise, you can venture over to the beach at Lake Pinneo and rent a kayak or canoe. Then head to The Club to enjoy a cocktail by the pool, a meal on Dewey's Deck, or fine dining at Davidson's.

In the winter months, Ski Quechee is our featured amenity. Open Friday through Sunday, take the family out for an exciting day on expertly groomed terrain. You can enjoy our wonderful base lodge and après ski gatherings with activities for the whole family. The Club also maintains heated platform tennis with warming huts through the cold months to keep your paddle game sharp. The Club features a full winter recreational calendar, including snowshoeing, x-country skiing, sledding, and much more! Outside of our seasonal offerings, there is so much more at Quechee. The Club offers a modern fitness center with daily fitness classes and top-notch equipment. Hiking trails are spread throughout the community woods. Quechee is home to several special events and incredible dining experiences.

Our goal is that your vacation exceed your expectations. Quechee Lakes Rentals by Portoro communicates via email and phone. After a booking is confirmed, rental agreement will be emailed to the guest for e-signature. Check-in instructions are sent by email and text message 14 days (or less) prior to arrival date. We offer convenient keyless entry for self-check in. We do typically check in with guests by text 1-2 times during their stays to ensure a 5-star experience and remain available for any questions. We are available to guests 24/7 for any inquiries.
