We were very disappointed with this property. One of the bedrooms was unusable because of a water leak in the bathroom above that occurred the previous week. The back patio was filled with water and mud, beach toys strewn around. Foosball table did not work, light in laundry room ceiling was in need of repair. Roof on the porch had a major leak, and we got a lot of rain. Some of the chairs on the porch and around the fire pit were broken. I could go on….That being said, the management company was great to work with, very responsive and apologetic for the state of the house. This house could be really nice, but it is not a place you would want to stay right now. The Beachwalk area is busy and fun. There are kayaks, paddle boards and a pool, shuffleboard and bocce. We could walk to Lake Michigan. We paid a premium for this house and were refunded part of the money, but it did not make up for the mess this house is in.

Was a perfect week at the lake. The house worked out very well for the 11 of us. The amenities kept us busy every minute but allowed for a lot of down time chilling at the beach and pools

4th of July Weekend with Family and Grand kids

House was just a pictured, we have been at Beach walk for the last 5 years and this was/is the best of the best for us. Spacious with a great location and very clean and comfortable.

Beachwalk

Our family had an awesome time at the house. It is perfectly located, lots of activities around and the beach Is in walking distance. The owner even got us some gates, a bed and a high chair for our baby.

Best Home in Beachwalk

This house was perfect for our family; 6 adults and 4 children under 6. The home was spotless and well appointed with everything we needed. The yard was huge and included a fire pit and hot tub. I highly recommend this property,

Beautiful Property

My family and I rented this lovely property to celebrate the holidays. It is very spacious and was able to accommodate our large group. The owner was very easy to work with and even allowed us to check in early. Although we stayed during the winter, the amenities were perfect for summer, so we plan on rented again when the temps are a bit warmer.

8 adults and 5 kids, plenty of room to accommodate our group, very comfy beds. Kitchen/seating worked out fine for our Thanksgiving dinner. Great view, hot tub was enjoyable. Would definately return

Wonderful home and area

Really great home. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of room. Next to the watercraft and bocce rentals which is convenient though it means others walk by which didn’t bother us. Nice to have multiple places to hang out indoors and outdoors. Liked that there were a lot of bathrooms for our five families. Did feel a little cramped at times but nothing we couldn’t handle. Even though it was a little cold outside we had an amazing time. Love this little neighborhood and would definitely come back again.

Family Getaway

We had 7 adults and 4 kids, ages 2-4.5, and the house was great for everyone! As a parent of toddlers, we appreciated all of the “kid” stuff the house had to offer: pack & play, toys, gates, step stools! The area is really cute and we’d definitely come back! James was really responsive and easy to communicate with!

Nonnies Birthday celebration!!!

The home itself was in a perfect location and we loved the enclosed patio. It was well stocked for a family of 13. The home needs some repairs etc: bedroom fan, stove fan, stove light, regulating shower water temperature. We also loved the little town setting.

Fantastic week

The property is fantastic. Multiple living areas so there are spaces to be together and apart. Multiple patio and deck areas and private beach area was enjoyed by all ages.Bathrooms are beautiful. Location location location - house is next to bocci ball and kayaks yet amazingly quiet. The huge screened in porch was our favorite gathering place. Great family vacation.

Wonderful property and property manager!!

The home was exactly as described. Even better in person that it looked on the listing!! There were a couple of minor issues that I communicated to Danielle and she was very quick to respond - all was worked out quickly. We are hoping to stay again next year. This is the third house we've had at Beachwalk and the family consensus is that it is the best one yet!!

The Perfect Spot!

Our family of 11 fit very well into this home located in the most ideal location in all of Beachwalk! We had back door access to everything on Lake Kai, as well as the shuffleboard and bocce ball courts! The house had all the essentials we needed and more! We enjoyed the screened in porch and the wonderful kid-friendly basement. Clear communication with the property manager was much appreciated. We'd love to come back again!!

Nice place

We have stayed in the Beachwalk area many times and love the location and ammenities. We did have some issues with this house (dishwasher broke mid way through our stay) and the house manager was prompt to respond but didn’t fix the problem. There were also lots of “workers” who would show up which was a little disruptive. Overall nice place.

Hey Gillian, I know we have already spoke privately about our issues during your stay. This is for the public to see how these situations were handled. You let me know on thursday evening at 7:30pm about the dishwasher. I contacted our handyman and the homeowner immediately and because we are at the mercy of a handyman's openings and I do not know how to personally install a new dishwasher (trust me I looked it up) the soonest we were able to install the brand new dishwasher was Saturday afternoon. I did apologize and sent a refund to you on Friday because I felt terrible and understood the frustration. Thankfully the sink was big enough to hold all of your dirty dishes for me to hand wash after you left. As far as workers coming, I am sorry we had an insurance adjuster there who stayed outside because of storm damage to our roof. Our home books back to back so unfortunately we have to fit in home necessities when we can. The other worker was our exterminator who was there to do a follow up to spraying for wasps. Also outside. I contacted you prior to let you know when each of them would be coming. I am sorry that these reasons made your stay less enjoyable.

Wonderful :)

The area is perfect for families with a wide age range of people to entertain. The house is clean, comfortable and spacious and really comfortably fit our large group. You look out the window onto a beautiful peaceful lake… if the kids had let me sit still I’d have stayed on that porch with a glass of wine all day :). Our host Danielle went above and beyond and was super lovely in general. A lot of little touches to make the stay extra special!

Would do it again!

Th property was a perfect gateway for our family gathering with 2 toddlers. Only 2 hours away from Chicago, the property is tucked away in a nice colony facing a small lake that made it a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend for everyone. The property is very well maintained, clean with everything under the sun - Daniele was extremely responsive with every query I made even before we checked in, and during our stay. She was very welcoming host, and made our stay very comfortable. We would love to come back again!
