About this space
The Country Cabin at Bear Bluff Retreat is located on a wooded 20 acres above and overlooking Wright's Bend on Center Hill Lake near Rock Island State Park. The surrounding area is considered the waterfall mecca of Tennessee with more caves, waterfalls and scenic overlooks per square mile than anywhere else in the United States.

This cabin features a country theme and provides a perfect place to relax on the porch and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Guest access: The entire cabin is yours to enjoy. You will also have access to our on-site laundry room and propane barbecue under the pergola by our meadow.
Other things to note:
Please drive slowly and carefully on our entry road, especially at night. It can be dark here and we like to keep it that way so that you can enjoy the night sky from your cabin porch.

The property has amazing views. The cabin was clean, has everything needed for a perfect getaway, and are pet-friendly. There are mutiple state parks witin a reasonable distance with breathtaking watersfalls.

This was a lovely place to stay! The heater didn't work so the host privided a space heater for us. He also provided firewood, which I have never had a host do before. There was an Internet outage for several hours the 2nd night, but that was most likely the aftermath of a stormy night prior, and no fault of the host. We enjoyed hiking the Twin Falls trail (very easy hike) with our little maltipoo Dolly. Great fall break stay!

The cabin was very clean! It had some essentials that we had actually forgotten to pack so that was nice. The location was perfect! Beautiful scenery and very peaceful! We cannot wait to come back! It was also convenient to get to places as well!

First we want to say the property location, cleanliness, comfort and amenities were all first class. The view from the patio is beautiful. The location in proximity to the surrounding waterfalls and - parks is perfect.Now I want to speak about the owners Curt & JoAnn, they are great people and now I will forever call them friend. I had a medical issue while there and I don’t know what my wife would have done without their loving assistance. Great people and place. We will be back

Perfect cozy cabin with a view

The cabin was small and cozy. Perfectly clean. Great view off the back porch. Off you want to go out for the day, it takes about 25-45 minutes to get anywhere with activities or restaurants, so you may need to plan accordingly. If you’re interested in a quiet get away, this is the place!!

Great vacation spot

Wonderful property with a great overlook of the lake. Cabin was outstanding! Not too far from surrounding parks with beautiful waterfalls. Definitely will be coming back!

Perfect Get Away Location

If I could give a score of 10 i would. The hosts have thought of absolutely everything and cataloged in the welcome book. Perfectly clean and comfortable. Great central location to many of the waterfalls and other attractions. Easy to plan a day and return to cook dinner. Tranquil and Beautiful view of the water and lots of birds to view and listen to their songs. Occasionally you hear cows across the river. Hosts are very nice but non intrusive however very responsive. I could not recommend this enough or say enpugh good things.

Paradise....

I stay at Bear Bluff Retreat because It's located near some of the best waterfalls in Tennessee. Most within a 30 min drive or less.The cabins are top rate and you can't beat the price.

Amazing view!

A perfect getaway to the Bear Bluff Retreat. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the sunrise and sunsets from the porch. Very peaceful location!

Stay in Country Cabin

We loved our stay, the serenity and quiet trail. Looking over the bluff at Wrights Bend in Center Hill Lake was very peaceful. The cabin was decorated and designed in an enjoyable manner. Curt was helpful and kind anytime we had a concern or question!
