The spacious screened-in back porch can be a perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day. Sit down, relax and listen to the sounds of the river and nature, and let your worries slip away.

Beautiful property right on the river. If I had one complaint it is the parking is tight as you must share the driveway with the tiny house which is also rented.

Perfect Work/Play Getaway

Hosts were so generous and the home was absolutely perfect for what we needed to work by day at the University and hangout at night. Thank you for a great place! Hope to stay again in 2024!

Wonderful weekend place

My husband and I stayed at this amazing place and cannot wait to come back. We worked all weekend at the hospital so this was such a perfect place to come back to after long days. The screened in porch was where we stayed mostly and it is perfection! The house is even better than the pictures. Thanks again for the easy communication and beautiful place!

This property is amazing! Spacious and modern but warm and inviting. The porch overlooking the river was my favorite spot to begin and end my day. I can’t wait to go back.

What a Happy Space!

We loved our stay here! The house is comfortable, on a fabulous location with a perfect porch! Listening to the river rushing by was so relaxing. The hosts thought of all the little small things that make you feel right at home. We had a few bumps the first night and Randall got right on it. We booked another trip for August. Can’t wait!

Sisters Birthday Getaway Weeend

In all honesty, if I could give Randall and Dawn a six star review I would do just that. Their home is one of the nicest properties I have ever rented; it is simply stunning. They have thought of everything.....and it is all at your fingertips the minute you think of something you need. Top shelf amenities everywhere. The crown jewel is the back porch; we spent the majority of our time looking out at and listening to the beautiful Tuckasegee River under a powerful overhead fan which was especially necessary given the 90 degree temps over the weekend. We can't wait to return!

Great house in the mountains

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful mountain home. The setting was peaceful and relaxing, with the river just behind the house making mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee something special. It was the perfect spot for quality time with family. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful any time we had a question. Truly a great experience all around!
