Thank you for your feedback Jeff! Regarding the washer and dryer, the listing's description is clear about the fact that they are reserved for monthly and long term rentals only. We're glad you fell in love with our place we'll be happy to have you stay again whenever you please!

I responded promptly to ALL of Monica's questions. Unfortunately, she kept asking the same questions over and over again and also failed to understand that we are not responsible for transportation to/from Culebra. This all prompted a feeling that she was not the type of guest we prefer to host, which was subsequently confirmed. The month prior to her arrival, I asked her to please cancel her reservation and find another suitable property, out of consideration to me and other guests interested in booking for those dates, but she did not. Instead, she had a family member call me to convince me to keep her reservation, which I did against my gut feeling, and that clearly backfired. Although the issue with the cleaning was outside of my control, I did what I could to rectify the situation. There was a mix up on the cleaning staff’s calendar and the apartment was not ready when she arrived. As soon as I became aware of the this, I did everything possible to resolve the situation and quickly refunded her the cleaning fee (without her asking). Once I was able to get the cleaning staff to go over, she said it was no longer necessary and told me everything was fine and they were enjoying the place very much.

Thank you for staying at Coral Cove! We are sorry about the generator noise that diminished your enjoyment of the balcony. We were unaware of the situation until you texted us. We promptly answered and suggested that the proper action was to file a complaint with the police for ‘Disturbing the Peace’. Since we don't live in Culebra, we couldn't address the situation immediately. As a solution, we provided the telephone and the address of the police station, which is within walking distance from the apartment. This involved a third party and as you mentioned in your text, being a public dock, it was "outside of our control". The complaint would have been the correct and best option, especially since your communication with the boat owner was unsuccessful due to the language barrier. With no complaint filed, no results. Since you alerted us of the noise, we are working to resolve the issue permanently and as soon as possible.
