Dewey lake stay

Our stay was so great! The place is updated and the best location on Dewey Lake. We loved coming to shady shores every year and are so happy to continue to get to stay in our old cottage, now with great updates. Lots of beds make it comfortable for a family to stay in.

Perfect stay!

This house is in the best location for our family, the views are beautiful. The amenities make it so relaxing and easy to have a great stay. Kayaks and paddle board are such a great addition to the property. We can’t wait to visit again, thank you!

It was a nice little cottage and we enjoyed our stay. Wish we would have known that the lake was across the street and there was no hot tub but one is listed.

The location was great, all of the outdoor areas were great, but the house was awful. We had to scrub out the refridgerator before we could put food in it, wipe down cupboards because they were so dirty, wash dishes before using them as they were so greasy. Also had to vacuum and clean off furniture as prior tenants had dogs. On our 2nd day the mice showed up. Had to buy tubs to keep food in so the mice couldnt get it. No hot water in the bathroom sink or hand soap. Owners offered refund but we had rented a boat and had 2 boys who were looking forward to tubing and the beach and there wereno other places for rent close by. Thank goodness for the property manager who helped us make the week bearable. The owners need to do some serious cleaning and fixing up. Most disgusting cabin we have ever stayed in.

Had a great time. this rental is cute roomy and just what we needed. It was beautiful when we arrived in Sat beautiful Sunday too then the temp dropped and the rain started. I would love to go back in late summer when the water is warm!! A duck was nesting in a tree by the rental. The momma duck flew out of the tree one morning then 3 babies came down. she took them across the road to the lake. I went outside and heard something hit the ground it was a baby duck confused and couldn't find its momma. i caught it took it across the road and down to the waters edge where it joined the others. went back to the house and found another baby duck caught that one took it to the waters edge went back k to the house and found a third duckling. Took it across the road to the waters edge. They were beautiful babies.
