Enjoy a unique & exciting experience at a renovated 1800`s hotel, now turned vacation rentals. The entire main floor makes up the The Roaming Bison Condo including 3BR, 3BA, + murphy`s bed. Sleeping space for 8, TVs in every room, private patio, & a hot tub. Grab food and drinks at the bar/restaurant across the street or a cold one at the beer garden. 25min to Rapid, 10min to Spearfish, 15 min to Deadwood. Centrally located to get to your favorite Black Hills attractions!

Livingroom: Multiple leather sofas, floor to ceiling windows, mounted flat screen, fireplace, queen murphy`s bed

Kitchen: solid wood dining table, stainless steel appliances, original hardwood floors

Guests will be financially responsible for any damages caused by anyone in their party, including pets.

Guests will be given respect and privacy during their stay, but we are only 5 minutes away should you need anything.

The house was exactly what we were looking for! Centrally located to all the sites! The town was charming and quiet and nice to come home to after a long day out and about. The house was even better than described with everything we needed! We were able to cook several meals with ease and with the best little grocery store right down the street we were able to get everything we needed in one stop! Bonus was the bar and grill right across the street for some cold beers with no driving involved! The locals were all some of the friendliest people we have ever met. From the staff at Bullwhackers to the folks at the grocery/liquor store/casino! We felt right at home! Brandi and Tammy were awesome! Communication was prompt and informative! I highly recommend this house to everyone, young and old! We hope to visit again soon, we may have even made a friend or 2. Thank y'all for a great stay! 10STARS from Colorado...

OUTSTANDING VRBO

This is my 2nd stay here for a summer vacation having stayed upper unit and this time lower unit; both amazing! Both accommodated my large family. I will come back again and again. Cannot say enough good but this place sets the bar. Love it!

Absolutely fantastic! From initial reservation to check out, this beautiful home was beyond our expectations. The house was clean, cozy and very well appointed. The beds and bedding were amazingly comfortable. The town is clean and everyone was very friendly. We ate at the Bullwackers was super good and the I Horse made a sensational chicken bacon ranch pizza. Highly recommend both. My family and i will definitely be back!! One of the best

Perfect in every way...the beds were comfy. The living areas were large enough to accommodate 6 ladies and all our stuff.We easily accessed all the local attractions from the house..The restaurant/bar across from suite was good. The local diner had home cooked meals.. delicious.ATV rentals are everywhere and so much fun.

Charming Christmas Retreat

The property was so well decorated and ever so cozy! The dog run was a HUGE plus. Of course the hot tub was fun too. Just an FYI make sure you keep the front door locked. It’s a renovated store front and we got an unexpected visitor (friendly guy and looked just like Santa actually).

Relaxing

An as advertised property! Clean and welcoming. Everything you need for a relaxing stay. We stayed in more than our group thought we would and saved a bunch by using the well supplied kitchen. This rental is amazing!

Bachelorette Party Fun

We had a great time at this property. We loved the amenities. Lots of space and close to Deadwood but not IN Deadwood- which we appreciated. The bar across the street was fun and we enjoyed karaoke the first night of our stay.
