This cottage is ideally located in the heart of Merrimac, minutes from the public boat launch and popular attractions like Devil's Lake State Park, Merrimac Ferry, and Parfrey's Glen.

The Space:
Waters Edge Cottage is the ideal getaway for family and friends to create lasting memories on Lake Wisconsin. This property offers year-round activities for everyone, including swimming, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, boating, water skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and ice fishing.

Inside, you'll find a range of amenities to make your stay comfortable and convenient. Each room is equipped with a TV, and the cozy memory foam mattresses ensure a restful night’s sleep. The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need, including Tupperware, a NutriBullet, a coffee frother, and a Crockpot! The open-concept kitchen and living room offer plenty of space to spread out while still enjoying time together. For the little ones, there are coloring books, crayons, and plenty of family-friendly activities.

Step outside and enjoy the lakefront access, including a dock (boat not included), a canoe, kayaks, and a stand-up paddleboard. Note: Lifejackets are limited, so bringing your own is recommended. The spacious deck offers spectacular views of the sunrise and sunset every day of your stay, along with a Weber charcoal grill, a pellet smoker, a Char-Boil gas grill, and a firepit (wood not provided).

In the master bedroom, you'll find a closet with baby gates, an iron, an ironing board, and crayons. The second bedroom's open closet has additional bedding and more activities for kids.

Please note, boats may not be docked or tied to the pier overnight.

For your entertainment, the living room TV has a Firestick, but guests will need to log in and out of their own streaming accounts. The master and second bedrooms do not have SMART TVs, but you are welcome to bring your own SMART-compatible device if you prefer.

Guest Access:
Guests will receive a code and detailed instructions 1 day prior to their stay for easy access, as the main entrance features a smart lock.

The Neighborhood:
This home is located in the Merrimac, WI, only 8 miles from Devil's Lake State Park, Merrimac Ferry, Devils Head, and Parfrey's Glen. Public access to Lake Wisconsin is located 2 minutes away from the home on Palisade St. in Merrimac.

Parking for the home is limited to 2 vehicles. Memorial Park is a block down from the property and has public parking available for extra vehicles and boat trailers! No street parking is available in front of the home.

Getting Around:
Great restaurants are in Merrimac with larger cities such as Baraboo and Prairie du Sac within 20 minutes of the home. There is a small country store in town for immediate needs, but would suggest getting additional supplies at the Walmart or Grocery stores located in Baraboo.

Other Things to Note:
Guests are responsible for bringing their own coffee, firewood, propane, and smoker pellets to ensure a smooth stay.

Please be considerate of neighbors by observing quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

For safety, please refrain from docking or tying your boat to the pier overnight. Fires are only permitted in the designated fire pit/ring area.

Smoking, vaping, or burning of any kind inside the home will result in a $250 charge. All smoking, vaping, and burning must be done outside, at least 30 feet from the building.

Fireworks are strictly prohibited. Any violation of this policy will incur a $250 charge.

Parties are not allowed on the property. Violation of this rule will result in a $500 charge.
