Wi Fi out

The house was clean but not that comfortable with a large table in the middle of the small kitchen and vinyl living room furniture. Wi fi went out due to wilder fires but mine never came back on. Called property manager but took several days to get a new router and he expected me to hook it up Then AC never came back on (thermostat needed wi fi} and then needed a repair man.

Wonderfully clean, nice neighborhood

Our family of 4 enjoyed this location very much! The canal was fun although not many fish to catch but we saw we think 8 different manatees in a week! The house was super clean, and beds were comfortable. The covered porch was super nice during the rain. Kayaks were a nice option. Would stay here again.

Excellent fish camp with plenty of dockage

Had a wonderful time at Boater’s Dream. Fish cleaning station and chest freezer came in very handy and the back deck was a cool location to hangout in the evenings. Lot the house sits on has multiple large palm trees on it and just an excellent location. Neighbors were all really friendly and enjoyed getting to know them. Property manager was very quick to respond to any issues we had and their maintenance guy Steve is an ace. He is an avid fisherman and was quick to offer advice on where to troll and what depths the different species of offshore fish hangout at. Can’t say enough good things about the place. Will be coming back again next year for sure!

My family and I were so happy as soon as we pulled up to the property. Perfect to rent a boat or bring your own and have great access to the beautiful ocean. I would definitely bring my family back to this property

Nice 3 bdrrom place

The place was great. The Keys always have tight quarters so having a three bedroom was a plus. Light over the kitchen didn’t work or we never found the switch. The owners did provide paddles for the kayaks though at first stating we had to rent them. In the description it mentioned use of the kayaks for no additional charge.. Neighbors right across street parked their car at the entrance of our driveway making it harder for us to get out but they did move the car when requested. Close to everything. Lots of tasty restaurants not much shopping. Fishing was decent and the life in the canals was spectacular- they even have a resident eel !!!

We enjoyed the easy access by water to the 7 mile bridge. Public ramp was nearby. Quiet canal.

Great getaway

Wonderful communication with owner. Quiet neighborhood, close to many great restaurants and grocery store. Easy access to gulf and Atlantic with plenty of great fishing. Daily visits from the manatees and dolphins!

Not clean

The pics online need to be updated. The outside perimeter of property was very unkept. bushes needed to be trimmed, porches were dirty. too much unused furniture was laying around. bikes rusty. outside perimeter lights did not work. most of the lights inside had non working light bulbs, oven does not work. left front burner on stove not working. The entire house needed a DEEP clean from blinds to garbage cans. On a positive note, the location was perfect for boaters. The bathrooms and bedrooms were surface clean. For the money we paid for a week stay. It was not workth it.

Looked Better in the Pictures

Overall an ok place to stay and a good location, but not worth the money. Home was relatively dirty when we got there. Old food and used tissues on the floor under the furniture, no sweeping or dusting was done, holes in the walls and the oven didn’t work on bake setting. Outdoor table was covered in fish blood and the floating dock is a hazard.

Amazing place at a great price

This rental had everything we needed on our week stay. Having waterfront access with easy boat launch locations nearby was a huge plus. John was always quick to reply and gave great suggestions on places to visit.

Fantastic Getaway

This property is a great location for a central base. Everything we needed was nearby. The property is well stocked and perfect for our needs for cooking, laundry, etc. (we don't spend too much time in the house while on vacation). The quiet corner lot was wonderful and gave us much more room. We enjoyed all of the outdoor sitting areas for games, fishing, kayaking, etc. The owners were wonderful - helping us once with a dead car battery and sending us off with Easter treats!! I would easily return to this property in the future.

It is a boater dream

We had the best time here. We rented a boat which with the large dock space was perfect. You have the whole peninsula to yourself! Perfect location - dog friendly and quiet neighborhood. You can’t go wrong!

Great place for boaters!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay during mini-season. The property had all of the amenities we could ask for and our host was very accommodating. I highly recommend!

Family vacation

Great location on canal with small bridge grandson fished there when not out on the boat. Had two porches we used both. Nice little neighborhood . House had everything we needed. Had a great time we will be back. Thanks John for everything.

Winter getaway

It was a much needed respite from the winter and the property provided everything we required and then some ! The owners were fantastic and provided anything above the norm in order for myself , Dad and my dog to be comfortable . They particularly went above and beyond to make sure my Dad was comfortable and it really made my stay very relaxing . I would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend this property , The water location and yard along with the seating and porches provide a very nice place to while away the time and just relax. I am planning on returning hopefully on a yearly basis.
