Fantastic place to stay, wonderful homey feel in a cute small mountain town! Marci was incredibly kind and hospitable. Can’t wait to make this an annual trip when cutting our Christmas tree.

Marci was fantastic! She upgraded our room due to our reserved room having renovations being done. It was very comfortable with great access to area attractions. It was a great stay for the price. The property was pet friendly which is a great bonus! We would definitely stay there again. Also The antiques store is worth a walk through.

Excellent location for kayaking, hiking and biking. The host was very accessible and attentive to any requests. Cabin was spotless and a cool rustic vine. Very quiet at night. The small lodge had food options and about anything you might need for your stay. Even an ice cream buffet.

Red feather lake rustic cabin

2 thumbs up 👍👍, accommodations were wonderful, great setting get away with unmatched customer service, I will recommend this cabin. And will definitely be back 😁

The picture was not our "cabin." Though very clean, andmgt was kind...there was no sink in the bathroom, no closet, and the TV was hung over the beds which madeit impossible to watch. The windows did not have screens, so cross ventilation was only available which brought flies into the "cabin." We had received a code to enter the "cabin" with. Mgt was apologetic that the work on what was to have been our cabin was not finished. Others who were staying at the same place had no sink in their bathroom. So, for two nights, we were A-okay as we are campers at heart...and the "cabin" gave us a clean, safe place to stay.

Needs work, great location

The location is perfect and the little store that these cabins are attached to has just about everything and great ice cream the host and her family are very nice and very helpful. It needs some updating such as the carpet which is very old and not to great to walk on with bare feet.

VERY Dog-Friendly location

The room is quite rustic; it's part of a small 'general store' location where you can purchase ice cream, sandwiches, pizza, and antiques. The owners are great - we mentioned it was our anniversary so they left us a thoughtful card and gift to enjoy while we were there. We were able to secure another room for our son and his fiance, too. We had 4 dogs between the two rooms and it was never a problem. Thanks, Marci!

Pitiful

Old, took two hours to find the light switches, couldn’t fit in the bathroom, had to get the manager over to get the heat turned on then she wouldn’t leave. It was cheap but disgusting and I would never take a shower in that bathroom.

Cute and cozy

We decided to book this location for a last minute getaway. The owners are friendly and hospitable, and the area is beautiful. The accommodations are cute, and the perfect size for a couple. We had all the amenities we needed, and we were allowed to bring our dog, even though he is more than 50 lbs. It was overall a good value and experience. We were happy to get the chance to stay in the area on such short notice. When I booked I didn’t realize that this isn’t a stand alone cabin, but actually a studio apartment decorated to feel just like a cabin. And although it is really close to the lake (walking distance), the apartment itself isn’t really lake front. It’s blocked from the lakeside by other buildings and the general store. However, walking down to the lakeside is no problem, and it is a pretty and convenient location. We checked in late, but we were thankful that the owners worked with us on our late arrival. Although the unit was clean, overall comfortable, and cozy, the bed itself (seemed like full size) was too small for my husband and I to sleep in comfortably together (I’m 5’6” 125 lbs, he is 5’ 10” 190 lbs). The mattress didn’t have a lot of support, and unfortunately didn’t make for a restful night. We had a really nice stay overall, and If I were to stay here again in the future I would plan to sleep one to the bed, and one to the pullout couch.

Mixed Feelings

We have some mixed feelings about the space. The area is beautiful. The frozen lakes were pretty cool. But these are not cabins, perse. Their like townhomes. But cabin shaped. You share walls. Which is fine, didnt bother us, but thought id mention since the exterior photos dont show it. The owner was very attentive to messages and let us choose a space as well, which was nice. Getting into the cabin was fine,. The inside was....nice from a distant. It was definitely rustic. But it was sooooo gross. The bathroom was covered in pee. The kitchen had mouse droppings. Which yes, we are in a cabin in winter, but I'd like the illusion that there is no mice lol. There was a coffee filter full of used coffee. The dishes were dirty. And the floor was full of white dog hair. Now it does say to take out your trash, which we did. And it did seem that it was left like the previous renters left the space like that and no one cleaned it before coming in. This cabin has a lot of potention. Would have rated higher if it was cleaned. Other than that we enjoyed our stay, we explored and the store across the street was open.

Where is the bathroom

I rented this unit above, and the owner called me. I was driving to the location and said, 'I have a better unit for you to get your walker into.' I will not do that again, either there or elsewhere. Move it. I have another person in my unit who rented it with these pictures.The Place forgot to create a bathroom. See the pics. The sink looks like one used in the restroom on a plane. There was a high toilet, but one step off the platform, you have just broken a leg or arm. It's supposed to sleep six; Really, there is NO way. The kitchen was OK, but the Microwave is what you get when you get a dorm room at college. I had to heat my potato 2 times and then some. If Like high top tables to eat on that oK, but I am handicap so very hard to get up there or down. No where to sit to watch TV. Oh, the TV did not work at all. The owner fixed that, but they had to use Google to figure it out. NO heat that I could figure out, except the GAS fireplace, which was nice. I'm glad I brought one for the bed, but there is no cover sheet. Pictures show that you walk right from your car to the door, but that's not the case with a steep ramp with no rails. Went came out that morning the wooden desk and ramp was full of ice as rain/sleet that night. NO Owner around to make sure his two guests were safe. I'm glad I have a giant walker with mountain tires to move all my stuff up the gravel to my car. The owner bought the Place, which is not in the hospitality business, but is a realtor. Sell it
is this bathroom for real? Use for 1 to 6 people if you stay here

The shower below I would even step in that. the Sink did not even drain. I guess everyone use the kitchen sink.
