Great weekend getaway!

This property is great to get away from the hustle and bustle of Northern Colorado. It's far enough away, but not horribly inconvenient if you need some necessities. Plenty of great fishing and hiking nearby, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful stone lodge/cabin in the valley. Well appointed and loved. Didn't get to spend as much time as we would have liked. If when in the area, we will be sure to stay again. Great spot!

We've been so fortunate to retreat to Liz and Johns cabin several times over the years, for anniversaries, birthdays, and other special occasions. It gives us a chance to press pause on our busy lives and focus on our relationships. The cabin is always clean and inviting, and offers everything we need to feel at home.

Rustic is Relaxation

Great cabin! We’ve driven past it for years and wanted to stay. Glad we got to book it this year. My cousin and I flyfish the Poudre River annually with friends. We can’t say enough great things about the awesome cabin and its location. I just hope we can reserve it for next year.

The house was so nice and cozy! Kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking utensils/pans that we needed, bathroom was well stocked with shower items, and general instructions for everything regarding the house were very well laid out. The owner was great with communication and was very accommodating when we asked to check in a day early.

Beautiful, quiet location

We had a wonderful stay. The property is even more beautiful than the pictures. The hosts are wonderful and responded quickly to our questions! The drive in and out is breathtaking. Coffee on the front porch in the morning is a must! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Hidden Gem!

The area was perfect to get off the beaten path. Lots of fun exploring. The views are amazing. Kitchen set up was perfect for those of us who love to cook!

Nice cabin. Kitchen was well stocked. Unfortunately we had wash most pans and dishes before use.

We had a good Thanksgiving at the cabin. Would have been nice if the hot tub and wood stove could have been used.

Thank you for letting me know about the pots and pans. I'm so sorry, as that is not my standard. I will notify the cleaners since they likely didn't check them if they were put away by the previous guest. Unfortunately we can't allow the hot tub to be used per the county rules since we are on a well. Plus, like the wood stove, there are folks that don't follow operational rules, leading to damage, lack of cleanliness, smoke in the cabin, etc. I truly appreciate your feedback. Relaxing get away

The house was a great place to relax for a week long get away. It had everything we needed and Liz did a great job of communicating with us and taking care of anything we needed. We took advantage of the good hiking trails close by and explored the area. We also spent a couple days just relaxing at the house. The porch was a great spot for morning coffee and tea or a late afternoon drink. We’d definitely stay here again when we’re in the area.
