We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and helpful throughout our visit. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Everything we needed was provided, and communication was smooth from check-in to check-out. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend this host to others.

Great stay

We rented this out to be close to The Springs event venue for a wedding weekend. The whole family was able to stay and enjoy the nice big home.

Quiet house on the hill

Beautiful house and property. Plenty of space. Pool wasn’t open yet, but weather was pretty overcast and cooler out so no big deal. Super responsive host, easy and clear instructions the entire time :)

Nice Family Gathering

We enjoyed our stay at this very private home. The kids especially liked the pool. Only real problem we had was the grill, it was in bad shape and needs to be replaced.

Family Wedding

Hilltop Ranch is perfectly located near the Springs Wedding venue! For location and quality of the house, you can’t get anything better! The amenities, the layout, and overall cleanliness was great. As normal, you have to figure out a few things when you stay at a new place, but the mgmt team were responsive and on top of it. With it being the the last week of May, there was a misunderstanding regarding the pool and it was not ready for our stay, but other than that, if in the area for a wedding or some time at Lake Kiowa, great place!

We had a wedding at The Springs. Location was fabulous. There was plenty of family gathering room. The children loved playing outside & swimming in the pool. Unfortunately the rain made the grounds a little wet.

Wedding stay

Niece got married close to house at wedding venue. Nice home with pool. Kitchen is nice but lacking dishes etc for 8-12 people. Yard around house is not taken care of. Pool is nice and comfortable beds.

Texas Wedding Weekend

Absolutely gorgeous property with views from throughout. The cattle would roam around the kids just loved waking up and seeing them, there was a white one they called ice cream. More than enough room for all of us we did a big family dinner night and had everyone come over then sat out back by the fire it was very peaceful. The pool and hot-tub were refreshing after our long days. We will definitely come back.

Great house close to wedding venues

We stayed at this house for three nights because my daughter was getting married at a nearby venue. The house was large, nicely decorated, clean and had everything we could have needed. We were thrilled that there was a very large closet that we could hang the wedding dress and suits in. The house had plenty of space for us to easily store and organize all of our things for the wedding. We had trouble telling the exact layout from the online pictures but it ended up working for us. The master bedroom and bunk room have ensuite bathrooms. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom that is between the two rooms. There is a fourth bathroom with a shower at the front of the house that is not near any of the bedrooms. We had a few issues before and at check in but these were responded to very quickly by the management company and dealt with to our satisfaction. We would stay at this house again.

Long wedding week made longer

Our family rented this house as our daughter was getting married at the French Farmhouse. Day 1: We showed up to a keypad that didn't work cause apparently the dead bolts were locked. Tried contacting folks, and no response. We found a back door open. Day 2: The next day, the front gate wouldn't open to let my wife/daughters out due to the wiring so they ended up being late to the rehearsal brunch. Also, found out the air conditioner in the house did not work. The air didn't work the entire time we were there which was miserable. They did offer to send folks out the DAY OF our daughters wedding but we could not have folks there while the girls were getting ready. The Master shower takes a good 30 min of runtime to get luke warm water. None of the TV remotes worked. I personally drove to the store (about 30 min away) to get batteries for them. Pool was dirty, but they said there had just been a dust storm apparently, and that it wasn't pool season anyways. Still not pretty to sit on that beautiful porch and stare at it.I hate that these things were not in order as we paid a lot of per night for the house. The house is VERY beautiful and I'm sorry to give this review, but its the honest truth. However, this made our entire week even harder than it should have been. No one tried to rectify the problems other than to just tell us thank you for letting them know so they could prevent it happening for the next guest.

We would like to clarify a few points. 1. We connected you within 5 minutes of your phone call, as we were on the phone with another guest. We apologize that we were not able to answer immediately. Luckily we were able to get you in the home within seconds. 2. Reference the gate, one of the cows damaged the gate. You did call us and they were able to get out within minutes. 3. Regarding the AC, you didn't want the technician to show up. Fortunately, they were able to get it fixed anyway. With the AC unit going out, it's just like with any home, you have to wait on the company to repair. 4. The shower, there is a handle for hot and cold. It was a user error. The wrong handle was being used. The remotes, this was not mentioned to us during your stay. Had we known, we would have assisted you. 5. On the pool, you are correct. We do have it on our listing and we advised you when pool season is. We are sorry that you failed to read that at booking and prior to your arrival. We did have a big dust storm as well. 6. We did address all of your concerns that were brought to our attention. If this is about the remotes, as mentioned this was not told during your stay. We did not just tell you "thanks for letting us know," we tried to help the entire time.
