High Country Haven Camping and Cabins is a beautiful back to nature mountain experience. Located in Franklin NC 7 mins to downtown. 35-45 minutes to Bryson City, Dillsboro and Sylvia. This 1 bed queen 1 full bath with shower and tub. This cabin perfect getaway for a clean and cozy stay! Full kitchen, dining room and living room. Can sleep extra people on couch or queen air mattress for loft short ceiling good for kids. You will find cabin lodge decor welcoming to the mountains for your stay.

Beautiful views, friendly and communicative hosts, fully equipped cabin just as described in the listing! Clean place, comfortable bed, good WiFi. Just the perfect place for us to unwind in the mountains for the week! 10/10 recommend!

The cabin was in excellent order and there were plenty of amenities in the kitchen. The driveway was easily accessible even with a small sedan car.

The kitchen had all we needed for easy quick meals. It is an older property but well maintained. The bathtub is small, but we have come back 5 times now and will continue. It works well for us. It has a great location and is very quiet.

Property was all that a couple needs for a comfortable stay. (Bed, bath, kitchen, living area and screened in porch). Also, central air, stackable washer and dryer and lot very shady to sit on porch.

Cute screened in porch is great, cabin was clean and more than adequate. It was perfect for me and my partner, but wouldn't recommend for more than two folks. Kitchen had everything we need. Forgot my hair dryer and they had two The cabins are pretty close together, so if you're looking for a private getaway, it might not be for you. Would totally stay there again. Great for families.

“The cabin” is more like a mobile home, located in an rv park. It’s cosy, has everything you need, but has carpeted floors. The problem is that it is pet friendly, and smells. If you don’t have a problem with that then book it. The owner was very responsive and you can’t beat the price in the area.

Clean, Comfortable Cabin

This is a great place to stay for a short visit to the Franklin, NC area. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and convenient to Hwy 441. The owner communicated well and provided a good experience for us. The owner lives on-site, which is a big plus if there was ever a problem. We will stay there again when we go back to that area.

Quiet and peaceful

Just what we need on each visit to the area where our grandkids live. We spend the day on the farm with them and bring them to the cabin at night. We love playing games on the screened in porch and are making great memories there. We'll be back, Ashli!

Couples Get-away

We have stayed in the cabins at High Country Haven several times over the past few years, but this was the first time in this particular cabin. Once again, we very much enjoyed our stay. Although each cabin is a little different in layout, each one is comfortable, cozy, and charming. This cabin had the screened-in porch area that looked like it would have been wonderful except that the weather did not cooperate with us for any outdoor eating and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen had all the essentials. We did enjoy the larger bathroom area that this cabin has. The property is located close to Franklin, yet the neighborhood is very quiet. A wonderful place to unwind and relax after exploring the town and surrounding mountains. We hope to come back.

Best cabin

We loved staying here! This is our 3rd time and one of the best cabins. The screened in porch is awesome and will definitely stay here again! I totally recommend and the host is great too!
