My husband and I stayed here for our 5 year wedding anniversary. Just the 2 of us for 2 nights in mid October. The cabin is just off the road when you get off the highway. The property is well kept with cute little garden decor. We loved all the little decorations and added charm the cabin gave off. The cabin itself was perfect for us, but we could absolutely see bringing our dogs and kids with us in the future. The first night was cold and rainy so we spent the evening after check in just hanging out on the back covered porch. They had an electric kettle so we made tea and just relaxed. The next day was so nice, we spent most of the day around the campfire burning sticks we found. The views were breathtaking in the autumn. We utilized the flattop and made a nice dinner on Saturday.The whole trip was very relaxing and cozy. I dont think we could have chosen a better spot to enjoy one another's company. We didn't use the outdoor shower but it would prob be a fun thing to try in warmer weather. The cabin was super clean for being a cabin the woods. I was impressed. The host answered all my questions and was great at reaching out.This trip made us want to get our own cabin to have a family get away. Maybe we will one day. We loved our trip. We would absolutely come back. Great rate too. I think it was appropriately priced.

Other than the spider and cobwebs, the cabin was for the most part clean. Although it did have a "musty" smell and all the windows had severe condensation. Thankfully, we did find a small electric heater under the vacume cleaner in the closet, it very much helped the temperature in the living/dining/sleeping area (all 1 room) as it was a very cool week, the kitchen area never got above 64, even when cooking. We own a farm and are used to "less than ideal" conditions at times, so we made do. Bring PLENTY of water though because of the high mineral content and smell of iron/sulpher content. One disapointment though was that the photo's did show a full size keurig coffee maker, so we only brought bulk coffee. Fortunately, there was an "old school" percolater which we (I) did know how to use. I do applaud the owner for quick and very courteous communication, an excellent hostess. Another surprise was that vrbo didn't pick up our original reservation which INCLUDED 1 pet dog, so we were charged an additional amount for the 3 night stay with the dog. Definitely NOT the hostesses fault. We've never had this happen before with the other rental agencies that we used across the east coast. If you'd like a very nice "get away", in a country atmosphere, with plenty of things available to do, this cozy cabin is a very nice fit :-). Thank you for a relaxing stay away from our farm.

I would highly recommend this place. The cabin was well stocked and cozy. The entire property was so peaceful and screen. My husband, dog, and I especially enjoyed sitting on the deck at night. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating. We will stay here again in the future.

Coziest cabin for a getaway!

The perfect place just 10 minutes outside of the village of Hammondsport, and all of the keuka lake wineries/breweries. The cabin was clean, and had pretty much everything you would need for your stay!

Reasonbly priced cabin near Keuka Lake. Full kitchen & covered deck with Blackstone grill. Large yard, room for an RV. Perfect for a familygathering.

Beautiful Cabin

Wonderful little Cabin in the finger lakes . We stayed there for the wine glass, half marathon and simply loved it. Definitely going back next year. Had a great breakfast outside on the griddle and had nice bonfires sipping some wine at night. Everything’s close by and the host were amazing. Thank you very much.

Short vacation with family

We love the quaint cottage. It is close to the Finger lakes, trails, wineries. This year with the rain we chose indoor activities. The boat museum and Bison Farm tour were great places to go. We finished the day celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving. The kitchen has all the necessities to cook up a feast.

Cute place

Two nights stay. Very cute place to stay. It was located next to the event we wanted to participate in. Very private very clean and would definitely stay there again. Also to answer your question yes the shower is outside in a shower tent. But the instant hot water heater makes it a super comfortable experience. We stayed in the fall with 50° weather. It was more than comfortable.

Clean, quaint, PERFECT

I stayed at the cabin for 3 nights in July. My grandchildren, ages 8 and 14 and my two dogs came along for the trip. The cabin was very well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, linens, towels and a nice Blackstone grill on the back porch. The beds were comfortable and the kids enjoyed the yard and fire pit. The drive to Keuka Lake was less than 10 miles away and we swam at the public beach. The water at the lake was crystal clear and the lifeguards were an added plus. We also went to the Corning Glass Museum and made our own blown glass items. The trip was definitely a memory maker! Can't wait to do it again!

Good bargain except shower.

In a region of overpriced lodging this was a good bargain, quaint clean quiet. But despite owners directions i could not successfully operate the outdoor shower. I thought I did everything right but the water sprayed for 20 seconds or so then Shut off. I gave up on it and used the shower at the yacht club where we were sailing.

It is the most depressing place I ever visited. Is to close to the road so you can hear every car. Inside of the cabin smells like something I never smell before, they trying to hide it with plug in air fresheners, but it's even worse. If a depression have a odor, I think that would be it. The water in the sinks have a strange strong odor too, like some chemicals mixed with I don't know what. I washed my hands and brushed my teeth with bottled water. The bed is too small and the bunk bed on top is to low, so when you sleep on the bottom, you feel like you are in the box. And the worst part is the shower outside in a small tent, there's instruction how to use it in the welcome book. First you have to plug in the water hose outside, then turn on propane tank (I think), then water heater, good luck to get the water temperature right, you have to go outside of the tent and play with the tank and heater adjusting. I booked the cabin for three nights, I left after one, first thing in the morning. Have fun staying there

We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights in the cabin. My wife and I were visiting family in the Bath area and needed a place to stay with our two, 10 week old Collie puppies. The cabin was perfect for us. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck in the back of the cabin as well as the nice yard. The cabin was comfortable for sleeping and very well equipped with all that we needed. The tent shower was an interesting twist, but turned out to be perfectly fine. We will certainly stay at this property again on our next visit.
