Great hosts. Delightful house extremely well equipped, very much a home from home. We had a week over Christmas, the house was beautifully decorated, warm and well placed for great walks and Bath.

Enchanting Stay!

This was a wonderful place to welcome in the New Year! Beautiful historical villa with warm and inviting interior and breathtaking views of surrounding forest, and just a short exit to the aqueducts and canals, and Avon River. The hosts surprised us with lovely seasonal decorations and treats. All the suggestions of catering & nearby restaurants & activities were perfect.

Vacation rental near Bath - 2024

We recently enjoyed a family vacation at the Pendragon House vacation rental near Bath. It was a 1-week rental with 3 generations of our family, for a party of 13. It is an elegant 19th century stone house situated on the Bath to London post road which has been lovingly restored to the highest standards. The house is beautifully situated at the top of a property which slopes down to the River Avon and the Kennet and Bath Canal. The grounds are extensive and well cared for with beautiful lawns, gardens and seating areas. A tennis / basketball court is located at one end, together with a trampoline. There are very pleasant walks along the canal tow paths through beautiful countryside. The rental contact Beccy turned out to be the owner of the property. She was extremely helpful, accommodating, and professional. On our arrival there were flowers and a welcome basket of edibles. She provided a cot and high chair for the smallest of our party, and toys for others. The house was immaculately clean and had everything needed to comfortably accommodate a party like ours. We have had similar vacations other summers including rentals in Tuscany, Lake Como, Sardinia, Brittany and the Côte d’Azur but I don’t think we have ever had a better rental than this one. My hat's off to Beccy.
