Great experience! Check in was smooth. Beautiful drive! Nice open kitchen and comfortable beds. This was a great time for our family to spend time together and decompress. Loved the view of the trees and hanging out on the patio with a cup of coffee. My adult kids got a kick out of the loft! The steps down to the lake were fun! We would certainly love to come again! Thank-you for a wonderful weekend!

Great place for a family gathering

Love the secluded area of the house. The rooms in the house were great. We had lots of laughs and even a couple of little naps around the fire pit and on the deck. lol!! We would definitely come back. Thank you so much for sharing your home!!

Fabulous place!

We had a great stay! The loft was super cool but a little too small for my older teens. Thankfully there was a pull out couch so that met our needs perfectly. It was well equipped and beautifully decorated. Very relaxing property.

Great Stay!

We had a great stay at the Watts Bar Tree House! Such a cute and quaint home located at the end of a quiet cul de sac with waterfront access. The owner was readily available for questions. This home is fully stocked with everything you could need. We will definitely be back next year.

Gorgeous views!

This stay was definitely one for the books! It was my family of four and my sister and her family of five. This home was beyond cozy and the kids absolutely loved it! Having coffee in the morning, enjoying the view off of the back deck was amazing, just listening to the birds and leaves falling was mesmerizing. The home had everything you could think of there and all of the appliances are all updated and beautiful. The house was so incredibly clean, almost too clean that both of my nephews tried going through the glass screen door, and one of them actually had a knot in a bruise that he carried for the whole trip. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone just trying to get away and enjoy peace and quiet with beautiful views. We will most definitely be coming back and already looking at dates in July!!

Great Home on the Lake

We, a group of three couples, had a great stay at the Watts Bar Tree house. Jason was an awesome host and checked in to make sure everything met our expectations-it did. There were 3 bedrooms, each with a Queen bed. Please note, the loft would be super fun for kids 10-12 and under, but too small for older kids/adults, so consider it a 3-bedroom place unless you have small kids. A full kitchen was upstairs and a kitchenette was downstairs with a 2nd refrigerator. There were plenty of supplies for a 5-day stay and everything was well labeled (switches, drawers, etc.). Plenty of towels and linens. Nice deck overlooking the woods/lake and a covered patio below for rainy days. There was plenty of room and everybody had some space, especially with the downstairs area. There was a small desk off the living room to setup a laptop if needed. Newer high-end appliances all worked well. My wife is really picky about cleanliness and had no complaints. So in summary, we were very pleased with our accommodations and wouldn't hesitate to come back. A couple of things to note. There are both basket and Keurig coffee makers. There is cable TV upstairs, but the downstairs TV appears to be just hooked up to a DVD player. Suggest bring a Roku/Fire Stick if you want more options. Like most of the homes on the lake, the house sits high on the hill overlooking the water. There are quite a few steps down to the dock, so just be aware if you have mobility issues.

Our “Watts Bar Tree House” is nestled at the end of a secluded street on an acre forested with chestnut trees. A stream runs through the property to a finger of the famous Watts Bar Lake. Our new dock, with room for your kayaks or fishing boat, is a stone's throw to the community launch ramp. For those who do not wish to venture down to the water, enjoy your morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail on a huge deck overlooking a beautiful, peaceful vista.

Located about half-way between Knoxville and Chattanooga, our home is a convenient launching point to explore numerous Southern attractions. Within minutes you can be boating and fishing, hiking, moonshine tasting and sampling authentic Southern Comfort cuisine. (We will have numerous suggestions for you!) The Appalachian and Smokey Mountains provide magnificent vistas, or venture closer to back-pack and hike their storied trails.

Or maybe you simply want to read, write, practice your music or relax in our peaceful lake-front property. You have found your perfect escape!

Our home is located in Rhea County in a tiny community known as “Lakewood Village”. We are in a secluded area at the end of a road. There is ample parking for several vehicles with trailers in our long circular driveway.

The home is 10 minutes from downtown Spring City via beautiful Tennessee back roads. There you will find groceries, a Post Office, hardware store and pharmacy. We are only 20 miles from Dayton, the County Seat of Rhea County, where the famous Scopes “Monkey” Trial is reenacted every year in the historic courthouse where the trial was originally held.

Small towns in the area offer a variety of activities: antiquing, hiking, water park & museums.
