Our stay in Cordova this weekend was great. The house was in a nice neighborhood close to all of our activities near the Wolfchase Galleria. The house was super clean, well appointed and and the perfect size for our family

Seeing Family

House is great for a family. Plenty of room. The coffee bar was a nice touch and very appreciated. Kitchen was well stocked. Very quiet and nice neighborhood. Good location in East Memphis.

Beautiful house

This place was in the perfect spot and so clean. We felt safe staying here and the host was great at communicating with us! They kitchen had everything we needed and they provided great amount of amenities. We will definitely stay here when traveling through Tennessee!

Just as described - a great stay!

Our group of 4 adults was very pleased and comfortable during our stay at this property. The location was convenient for shopping and dining and had easy access to Hwy 40. The property was clean and well-kept, beds and linens were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. The host provided small toiletries and individual coffee pods. We felt very safe and the neighborhood was quiet and lovely to see. Communication with the host was easy and prompt. I would definitely recommend this listing for your consideration.

Good place

The house was great. A few issues with running out of supplies/dirty towels, but the host was very responsive and had things fixed very quickly! I would say the house is a little choppier than it appears in photos. The kitchen and living area are a little small, so it was a little difficult for our family of 7 to all fit comfortably. We made it work though and overall very much enjoyed the stay!

Quaint Remodel

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at this house. The bedrooms are large, and well-separated, allowing for privacy when we needed some alone time. It is located in a quiet neighborhood that is relatively close to grocery stores, making shopping convenient. I have provided a four-star rating instead of five, because we did discover a significant issue during our stay. Finding a significant issue is not surprising inasmuch as no one lives there on a full-time basis. What is important to me is the homeowner’s response. In this case, the homeowner responded quickly and appropriately. Aside from the one issue, we enjoyed our stay. When you visit Memphis, I encourage you to see the march of the ducks at The Peabody Hotel.

Nice home Reno, not clean

The house looks to be nicely redone, but was so dirty that we had to find a new place to stay. The upstairs bathtub was filthy and unusable. Someone else’s bags of dirty laundry we in the entryway. There were a lot of dead bugs and some live ones as well. I spent an hour vacuuming after check in. There was also no toilet paper in any bathroom when we got there, so we had to find that on our own. We left the next morning and we’re offered no refund. Could be a great place if it were clean and better maintained.

Overall, the stay was fairly comfortable once maintenance delt with some issues. The house is a charming older home that appears to have been updated/ rehabbed. The majority of the blinds in the house are sorely in needed of repair to the point were a couple of the bedrooms lacked even a modicum of decency. I abhor roaches and we noticed two large cockroaches during our stay. When we arrived, our first impression was met with trash in the street and several cats in the overturned receptacle and blinds ripped off some of the windows. My husband and son cleaned up the debris, however, the garbage collectors did not service the home when they picked up the rest of the neighborhood therefore the home had no available trash bin for nearly the entire week's stay. It was very inconvenient. Dustin did address our concerns and did his best to expedite the issues. Lastly, I would suggest removing the living room rug, it smells and is very stained.

Worst Experience Ever

Worst vacation rental experience I've ever had. Arrived at home and was initially unable to enter because the door lock instructions were not complete. When I did access the house; I found that a first floor window was unlocked and not able to be secured. The window was two feet off the ground and the window screen had been removed and was laying outsude on the ground. The window was also located in a dark space between the house & garage out of view from the street. To make matters worse there were open attic doors in the upstairs closets that could potentially provide a hiding place for intruders. The property was not secured and I had no way to secure the property or assure there were no intruders already at the residence. I was forced to leave the property and get a hotel because the property owner would not/could not have maintenance secure tge property that night. VRBO & the property owner have not refunded me for the night nor have they reimbursed me for the hotel. I have spoken to 4 different customer service reps at VRBO with the first 3 all promising a follow-up call that I have STILL not received. The 4th agent "elevated" the issue - but I have yet to get a response. Further, the house was infested with lady bugs (beetles); there were dirty hand towels in 2 of 3 bathrooms; the placemats on the kitchen table were dirty with food stains and when lifted the table beneath was dirty with dried up ketchup. Stained cabinets, dirty baseboards & light switches-filthy!!
