This property exceeded our expectations. The photos didn't do it justice. Very clean, smelled good and cozy but with plenty of room. So many small, thoughtful and welcoming touches from the host. She had snacks out for us and a greeting card with a free coffee mug as a gift. House was decorated nicely and beds were comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful. WIFI worked great. We saw a deer in the backyard 10 min after we arrived. Can't say enough good about this home. We'd definitely come back and stay again sometime.

We like to stay here for bear camp every year due to its proximity to local game lands. The place is supper comfortable and perfect for us.

Check in/check out was a breeze! Sue was a great host & reached out at appropriate times. Property is cute & cozy, clean, & all furniture is very comfortable. Great peaceful place to stay when exploring the Poconos. Very family friendly, equipped with many board games & outdoor space. It was great for our family of 5!

Bear Cottage is a cute B&B

I loved my stay in this cute cottage in the woods near Hemlock Farms and Peck’s Pond. This is a perfect spot if you’re visiting someone in Hemlock Farms!

Perfect for Hemlock Farms Guests

The location of the property was super convenient for guests of Hemlock Farms residents. My children found the house to be clean and comfortable and they were delighted by the bear theme which extended through every corner of the property. They all were enthusiastic to stay there again.

Long weekend with family

The house was cozy and located within 30 minutes of Shawnee Mountain - which is what we were looking for. The owner was responsive and proactively arranged for a plow to come through on the day of our departure following a few inches of snow.

Peaceful getaway

My husband and I spent a few days seeing local waterfalls and visiting Milford's Gray Towers and the Waterwheel Cafe. We enjoyed staying in this property which was clean and well supplied. The host was also pleasant to work with and the bear decor is delightful.

Girls Trip

The house was perfect for 3 ladies to go on a nice girls trip into the woods for a weekend. The house was near plenty of fun outdoor activities. The bear theme and backyard was the highlight of our trip.

Amazing Host

From the moment we booked everything was perfect. Host was very easy to contact and beyond accommodating. The cabin was modern and well kept. We will definitely be staying again, if we could give more than 5 stars we would.

The property buts up to the forest and only has one neighbor next to it. So its very quiet and peaceful place to stay. Lots of hiking and Pecks Pond is a walk away. Plenty of private parking and a very spacious living room and back yard.
