Complete privacy on almost 2 acres! 3 minutes from Bridge Park with restaurants, bars, shopping, spas, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, and Zoombezi Bay. 4 miles from the Memorial Tournament. Relax on the oversized patio overlooking the peaceful Scioto River and roast marshmallows over the fire pit while the sun sets. Family friendly with arcade games, and an open, large living room with a fireplace and one 85 inch tv, as well as a 65 inch tv for your favorite sports to be viewed, complete w/ NFL Sunday Ticket included. There is also a pool table and Pop-A-Shot basketball hoop for more fun. Enjoy a second patio off of the kitchen with a grill, more cozy furniture and amazing views. There are 3 wood burning fireplaces to cuddle up next to. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a wood burning fireplace and tv with an en suite. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with an en suite. The third bedroom has one, triple-full over full bunk bed. The fourth bedroom has a single bunk bed. Second floor washer and dryer. Easy access to The Ohio State University and Downtown Columbus. 2 night minimum required + $250 cleaning fee. MAX 8 ADULTS or you will be charged $500 p/extra person p/day

The house has so much for people of all ages. Our grandkids enjoyed the playroom and coloring and playing at the massive dining table. Beautiful view out the back of the house of the river. The house was decorated beautifully for Christmas.

Business Meeting

Home was great for our needs. Nice large kitchen to cook meals and visit. Played multiple games of pool and watched basketball on large screen TV. View of river and wild life in the morning made for an amazing sunrise.

Beautiful home for a relaxing family getaway

Got together with two of our kids and their families for a zoo lights weekend. The house was spacious, beautiful and had so many perfect touches. The grandkids loved the kids playroom filled with so many toys, videos and books. We saw deer by the river! The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas! We plan to make it an annual Christmas family trip.

Five star home and property

This home and the entire property are just gorgeous! Our group was in town for our son’s wedding. Everything we needed was provided, cooking pots / pans / utensils, mattresses and pillows were so comfortable. The hosts were easy to get a hold of and so accommodating. We had many beautiful memories of staying here and look forward to coming back someday.

Family Vacation

When we arrived, we found the code we were given didn't work on the front door, but then found a side door unlocked so were able to get into the house. There was still some trash that had not been removed, and there were used bars of soap in the showers (yuk) so our thinking was that they were not cleaned after the prior guest(s) left. While the house is wonderful overall, the outside areas needed a thorough power washing, etc. Every window was dirty and had a buildup of cobwebs. The windows are a primary appeal to the house, so really should have been cleaner. There were a couple of outlets that didn't have covers on them, one being in the children's playroom, very unsafe. There were also some clear safety panels missing from the stairway - we had children with us so again that was a safety concern that we had to keep an eye on.

Horrible communication

We arrived at the property at 4:30 and the house had not been cleaned from previous guests. The host did not communicate at all until we were leaving for a last minute hotel that we had to book.

Evelyn’s 8-yr-old trip

We planned this trip in honor of our granddaughter Evelyn’s 8th year and her brother Declan just happened to celebrate his 6th birthday while we were there! Having watched “Secrets of the Zoo” both were excited to visit the Columbus zoo and visit the Wilds. In addition to these 2 youngsters, we also brought along their parents and 2 younger siblings. The house was amazing! Plenty of room to accommodate us all with room for more! Perfectly located with easy access to the zoo and highway for our trip to the Wilds. All of the “new”toys and entertainment made the few days of rain a welcome chance to stay put! The owners were super responsive to every message sent and we would consider coming again as there are many other wonderful things to explore in the area. We are super grateful for their willingness to share their home. Thank you!!

Better than Advertised!!!

This home is in a word “AMAZING”. The photos do not do it justice. The beautiful property and outdoor amenities not to mention the gorgeous river made for an outstanding time outside. This was only matched by how great the interior was. It is well stocked and has every amenity you can ask for. The hosts were gracious and check in was a breeze. We will definitely stay here again and tell her friends. Thank you!

Winter wedding weekend in Dublin

We were in Dublin for my son's January wedding and the riverfront property was a perfect home away from home for us to relax between events. 6 adults stayed at the house and it was great! We enjoyed the huge kitchen table for games, the pool table, and the large screen TV for squeezing in a few football games. Lots of laughs and catching up! We were just minutes from downtown Dublin with all the restaurants and activities. It was too cold to go outside but would love to return when we could enjoy the river, fire pit, and deck!

Beautiful location on the river

We really enjoyed our time at this beautiful house. We wish we had more people with us due to it very large size and amenities. We definitely hope to come back with the rest of our family. We loved the huge deck and my husband loved fishing on the river. The house was so clean And so comfortable. The house is also only six minutes from the Columbus zoo. If you plan to go to the zoo, give yourself plenty of time as it is huge. It is the zoo that is on the television show secrets of the zoo.

Amazing family friendly house

The whole family enjoyed our stay at the River House. The rooms were spacious and there were lots of fun things to do including a pool table, video arcade, ladder ball and playset. The little ones loved the kitchen playset, books and toys! The hosts even left supplies to make s'mores which was delightful! The view of the river was beautiful and peaceful. The hosts were very response to any questions. We had a great time! We will be back!

Beautiful, clean property directly on the Scioto River!

We had an absolutely amazing experience during our stay at this marvelous house! The interior was exquisitely designed, perfect for families, and spotlessly clean. The backyard provided direct access to the Scioto River, offering breathtaking views. Our days were filled with enjoyment inside the house and along the river, while our evenings were spent around the inviting fire pits. The owners were exceptionally helpful and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We cannot wait to return to this fantastic place very soon!

An Awe Inspiring Experience

The joy and great times we experienced in this special home created life-long memories for our family. From catching fish in the river to bon fires and s’mores, this home was just perfect. The hosts were extraordinary kind, excellent communicators, and created the most welcoming and comfortable experience. No one in our party was ready to leave! We were all wishing we could stay another week. I highly recommend this home and so hope to return some day.
