Ridgeline Retreat

If you are looking for a cozy, romantic getaway for two, Ridgeline Retreat is the place to be. This is a small log cabin attached to a larger log cabin. HOWEVER, when you rent Ridgeline Retreat, the larger cabin is never occupied so you have the property all to yourself.

You have to climb a few stairs into the cabin but then it is all main level. The living room, dining room and kitchen is an open concept. The TV in the living room is a Roku tv so you can log into your favorite channels. The bathroom has a barrel sink and shower only. The bedroom has a queen log bed with antennae tv (local channels only).

Relax outdoors sitting around the fire pit, watch the stars from the outdoor hot tub or enjoy the long range view to the north. The Hitz-Rhodehamel Nature Preserve is walkable from the cabin for hiking.

Close to the Village of Nashville, 4 miles from Brown County State Park and approximately 10 minutes to the Brown County Music Center.

Well needed get-away!

Very relaxing, quiet stay in the hills

This was such a peaceful stay. The deck overlooks a valley that lights up at night with thousands of fireflies that honestly rivaled any christmas light display i'd ever seen. It was beautiful. And we sat on that same deck each morning to watch the sunrise and sip coffee! It was fabulous. Would highly recommend.

Small getaway

The cabin itself was clean and had spectacular view! Pay attention to description, this isn’t the entire cabin your renting; its left section with separate entry way. The rental agency does say the owners will never stay there if someone is renting, so you do have privacy; but it’s sectioned from the big family cabin area. However it was very nice view, clean, close to everything. We really enjoyed our time there!

Retreat with a View

Loved this rustic cabin with a wonderful outdoor oasis and fantastic view. Perfect for 2! Charcoal grill, firepit, hot tub, and fantastic deck area made the trip. Loved being so near Nashville shopping, too. (Bring charcoal and wood if utilizing.) Family Dollar, IGA Grocery, and Dollar General are nearby! ;)

Could be cleaner

Lots of dust , sink in bathroom needs replaced. Some remodelling under mitchen sink needed. Did not know there are two cabins sharing the same deck.

Nice little getaway

Ridgeline Retreat is the perfect couples weekend getaway. Cabin is big enough for two but not overly big. Even though the cabin is attached to the main cabin, no one was there the entire weekend as they had described it. View from the back deck and hot tub were amazing. Neighbors were just far enough away for good privacy. Location was excellent. About 10 minutes from Nashville, and very quiet. After hours check-in/out simple and easy. Owners were very friendly and helpful the couple of times I contacted them prior to check in. The following statement in no way changes my mind, comments or ratings of Ridgeline Retreat and Hills O Brown. I would definitely stay here again and am looking forward to it. But....the shower is a corner shower, and a little small in my opinion. That is also because I do not like small spaces. I did obviously push through that, and had the best weekend/downtime in a long time with my wife. Thanks again for sharing your home with us!
