The Stable is a beautifully renovated barn home located on the Twin Willows private estate in Mars Hill, North Carolina. Featuring open living spaces, rustic character, and scenic meadow views, this inviting home offers a warm and relaxed mountain retreat ideal for families, couples, and small groups.
During winter months, Twin Willows is conveniently located just two exits south of Hatley Pointe, which offers downhill skiing and family-friendly snow tubing. The Stable provides a cozy and comfortable home base for winter adventures, with space to gather, unwind, and enjoy quiet evenings after a day on the slopes.
The Stable offers privacy and comfort while still allowing guests to enjoy shared outdoor spaces across the estate. Optional on-site dining and seasonal events are available nearby when desired, offering flexibility between complete privacy and estate amenities.
Property Layout & Guest Access
Guests have exclusive access to The Stable, including all living areas, a full kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and a private patio. The open layout and rustic finishes create a welcoming atmosphere well suited for relaxing together during all seasons.
Guests may also enjoy shared estate amenities such as walking areas, fire pits, and lawn games.
Estate Amenities & Proximity
Optional dining and event spaces are located near the entrance of the property and are intentionally separated from The Stable to preserve a quiet, residential atmosphere. Dining and events are seasonal and not required for guests staying in the home. Quiet hours are observed across the estate.
Interaction with Guests
Self check-in is provided for convenience. Weâre available by message if assistance or local recommendations are needed while respecting guest privacy. Staff may be present near the entrance of the property during food service hours or scheduled events.
