Upon entering the cottage, you'll find yourself in a bright and spacious living area with plenty of comfortable seating. The living room is perfect for gathering together to watch movies or play board games, and the large windows allow natural light to flood in, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and has everything you need to cook meals during your stay. The dining area features a large table and chairs, providing ample space for everyone to sit down and enjoy meals together.

House was clean but had bunk beds that were missing top sheets and electrical outlets in bathrooms were not working but finally found secondary panel and fixed that. Contacted agency via number they provided but got no response. Also had some sugar ants in kitchen. View was amazing tho.

We loved this beautiful clean waterfront home. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. A couple negatives: the morning sun is intense and it would have been nice to have some pull down shades on the east side of both patios. There were no portable beach chairs available to sit on the dock or take to the beach. Although the kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, utensils and cookware, there was no starter supply of dish or laundry soaps.

Family Vacation at Sandpiper Cottage D

My family and I had a wonderful time during our vacation to Gulf Shores! We enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper Cottage D. The cottage was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The four bedrooms and 4 bathrooms were wonderful! We will definitely be staying there again!

Nice house with a great location very close walk to the beach access but has the calmness of the bayside and great bay views. House was well-equipped and we had no issues. Small community pool which could get crowded if all cottages were full - we stayed in October and there were several empty houses which was nice for noise level. Would stay again!

Perfect spot for my family. Beautiful view from both balconies for coffee on the morning or drinks in the evening. Close to the beach, and about a mile from the general store. We will be back.

LOVED THIS PLACE!

This property was better than expected! House was clean and fresh! The fishing pier was right out the back door and the beach was a short walk out the front. The parking under the house was a little tight..for my pickup, but cars can zip in and out. We hope to make this an annual trip to Gulf Shores and we would book this property again in a heartbeat! Not a single regret about this vacation...other than wishing we had found it sooner!

Great place!

Nice house, beautiful location and view. House was clean and organized. Only thing I’d warn others of is limited parking. This unit was impossible to get our big trucks under. And a sign was posted about vehicles getting towed…so that made us nervous but we didn’t end up having any issues. Just beware :)

Great Stay

The home was nice and in a great location. Looked exactly like the photos and had a lot of space for family and friends. There was no issue with checking or checking out. If I had to mention anything, it would be the amount of hair leftover at the property. It would be worthwhile to have the cleaning company try to remove hair from the showers, beds, and floors a bit more. Other than that, I would definitely recommend.

First night there, shower door handle completely loose, barely hanging on. Freezer door handle missing for some reason. Called maintenance and a guy was over within a hour. Both handles fixed.Second night there, smoke alarm battery alert went off. Called at 3:00am and maintenance guy answered, thankfully. Instructed on how to stop the alert, came over at 9:00 with new battery and smoke alarm. Great service.Only complaint was that the unit wasn’t as clean as we expected. Hair balls on the floor in bedrooms and bathrooms. As if they didn’t vacuum between guests. Kind of gross.This was our second vacation staying at this unit in two years. Looking pretty rough and in need of some TLC.For me as grandpa, this isn’t anyone’s fault but super disappointing. The fishing pier next door was getting replaced. This meant two barges and two boats working from 7am-4pm. Replacing a saltwater pier means: a caterpillar backhoe pulling up old pier supports and then driving new ones into the mud, water pumps, air-compressors, nail guns, etc…. Louder than you would imagine. All this noise and commotion, stirring up the mud, meant a week of fishing without a single fish being caught by me and my grandchildren. Couldn’t give my live shrimp away to anything but seagulls and herons.

Immaculate home with outstanding view!

We had a wonderful family vacation with 7 adults and our 9 month old grandchild. This property was absolutely perfect. Beautiful view of Little Lagoon from both decks and family room windows. A super convenient and quick walk to the beach. We enjoyed the large kitchen table with enough seating for all for meals and board games. Private bathrooms for each bedroom were a huge plus. Super clean, a well stocked kitchen for cooking, plenty of towels and linens, and an added bonus to have a washer and dryer. Thank you to the owners for allowing us to use their beautiful beach home for a memorable family vacation.

Perfect for Families!!!

Great vacation! House was beautiful, and clean for the most part. The only reason I gave 4 stars was dog hair found throughout the house and all in one of the beds upstairs. Bed was an easy fix - I just stripped the bed and washed it myself and hair was gone. Dock was awesome and we had a blast fishing each evening. Walk to the beach was not bad, but w/ grandparents we ended up renting a parking spot close to the public beach access. House has everything you need - we purchased groceries when we arrived and ate every breakfast and lunch at home and it really helps w/ cost. I highly recommend this place and we will be back.

Extended get away

Property was amazing. Kitchen was fully furnished making dinners in super easy. Kids enjoyed the bunk beds. In suite bathrooms were an added bonus for all guests. We stayed for ten days and enjoyed sunrises and sunsets off the balconies. The beach was within walking distance. New washer and dryer and the AC was worked wonderfully throughout our stay. Large dining space and comfortable couch & seating for down time. Plenty of pillows and sheets surprisingly comfortable. The pier was great and our neighbors were a pleasure allAround at the pool. Pool was a little small but we knew that when we booked. Having friendly neighbors was a great pool experience. We fed the seagulls bread off the pier and the kids had a blast. Great communication from the property managers. Amazing vacation. Thanks for having us!
