The house was very clean and ready for our arrival, host was very quick to respond and a huge help, we were able to take our family dog along with us which made it even better. Some family met us there and we had a lovely afternoon with them.

We stayed for a weekend in June to visit Letchworth State park with my family. Very easy to find with good parking, plenty of space to lounge and entertain, nice electric fireplace for heat and central air to cool, overall it was really nice. Check-in was easy and the town is quiet and safe. The only reason we’re giving it 4/5 stars is because there was a fairly strong smell of wet dog in the rental upon arrival. They are pet friendly so we assumed a past renter stayed with their dog and allowed their pet to lounge in the carpeted living room and possibly on the couches, retaining the smell. We decided to buy a candle to mitigate the smell for the duration of our stay which helped.

We only stayed for one night so bear that in mind! Pros: The place was very tidy, area very quiet and peaceful, and the beds were very comfortable. Cons: The first most noticeable issue was the smell; there a very strong dog smell, but not just the normal amount, it smelt of urine! :( Not sure if maybe the people that stayed before had a pet that had an accident but it was overwhelming. The shower is small, but that was manageable. And unfortunately, there was no coffee available as the machine was not working! As coffee people, that was something that we looked for on the listing so we could get our coffee fix; but unfortunately, it wasn’t available as promised. We’re not complainers, but unfortunately it didn’t meet our expectations. :( I’m sure those issues can be easily sorted out!
